the mod doesnt work because it doesnt exist anymore basically. i factory reset my computer back in march and didnt not backup the mod files so i literally cannot touch it again.

so i forgot to back up the files for my mod. so uhhhh. whoops. mod will not be coming back sorry. im making another mod though so that'll come out sometime later when it done. trying not to rush this one and actually balance it. =)

Mod appears to have vanished. I've tried unsubbing and resubbing, but that hasn't fixed it.

To update my opinion, I think you've done so much awesome shit to improve the original release. My main highlights are the added weaponry, enemies, and most importantly allies being able to follow and encountering them in places that make sense. My main gripes are the easiness of legendary thanks to sniper one shotting everything, and overall it feels like damage has been reduced to the player. On the other hand the tank does less damage and still shoots its mg wildly, ghosts, elites, hunters, and wraiths all take much more to kill with tank shells although ghosts die in one shot to a rocket even if it hits nearby on the ground while elites will tank a rocket shot. Also, johnson and the ODSTs, Linda, and the wraith spartan on T&R all will follow you to the command center and be killed? How does that make sense when the immediately return in Silent Cartographer and afterwards? Again, I still give this a high rating and it is a really fun mod. I just like to complain :)

Seems to mostly be encounter changes. I remember there used to be a room on Two Betrayals where a pair of Hunters had teamed up with a Marine squad, the Hunters have been removed now. The Drinol are also more consistently allied with the Covenant now, only one I saw attacking Covies was the one of The Silent Cartographer.

I don't know if it's just me, but the Kestrel's machine guns might need some Viagra, the bullets just drop the moment they leave the guns. The rocket pods work fine though thankfully.

Don't forget friendly hunters! They're an absolute blast to have fighting along side.

If I could make a suggestion though, please keep in and add more of the digsite weapons into the mod, there's so many from the digsite as well that nobody adds to their mods, that have first person views without the holo sights. And they're always a blast to see and have to add to the variety missing in base Halo.

Sounds wicked! Hope you expand on the way allies follow too. Like the marines on TSC all converging on the cartographer together after you shut down the door. Or the marines fighting the covie below the path that leads up to the door control panel following you up and into the structure.

Little improvements like across the board would just make things pop up more. I admit I'm spoiled because of Ruby's mod but I wouldn't bet an eye if you changed some weapon stats to be closer to his like the fuel rod, scorpion, or ghost. Or gave flood the headshot capability on the infection form so certain weapons have a better chance, heck maybe the explosion on carriers from nades and needlers doing the thing where they kill the infection forms inside?

i do plan on fixing thoes things like you said in the last major update that this mod receives. there might be changes and fixes to map here and there or i might just wait and give this one final update. but when that does happen here are some things you can expect.
-digsite enemies will use the base covenant plasma weapons so theres no massive holo sight flying around the sky.
-marines will be placed in areas that make sense and wont be in the middle of covenant lines.
-armored marines will be replaced with rubys variants so they dont act useless anymore.
-only jackals and grunts in friendly covenant squads since elites wouldnt make sense.
-other stuff
i really plan on giving this one last worthwhile final update.

There's other things that could be improved like the removal of the holo sights on the digsite covie weapons or maybe improving weapons and AI to something closer to Ruby's mod like the fuel rod accuracy, but I feel as though if the presentation with allies was improved in the future, it could easily stand out as the best part of the mod.

All in all it's a solid experience so far and I plan to continue enjoying it!

I love your idea. Feels like a mix between Better with Friends and the Havoc mods. It feels a little rough around the edges in presentation though. Any chance of further improving some of the scenes with allies?

I've only gotten through the first half of the campaign but the way they're stationed in many scenarios is a little off, like they'll be in the middle of enemy lines perfectly fine (the 3 orions at the start of AOTCR stuck out to me the most in that way, how did they get there and why were there still enemies coming through the door to get me at the beginning? or how did Johnson and Linda at the end of TSC let a zealot get to me at the doorway and stand there doing nothing?), or why do allies not follow me in many scenarios like on TSC or the scorpion at the beginning of AOTCR.

I like the mod so far, I gotta say though, the third person version of weapons with the visible reticle on the enemies is a bit of an eyesore, and when using them, the reticle isn't visible at on them when attempting to use them.

figured id write this here since i know not everybody reads the patch notes. the next major update to all of the maps and the whole campaign will come sometime next month probably.or maybe later. no date on the next update just yet. im not sure if im gonna do another update after that. but i will update this mod one more time atleast. Hey a note, the marine wave at the end of 343 along with the jackals they are with are all hostile. thankfully none seem to do health damage.

Also would look at things like RUBYs rebalanced if you can for ideas on how do to some scripted things.

love the army in assault on the control room, but it feels more random then actuallly there.

sorry for the extremely late response but im currently using some things in the pack on nexus mods. mainly odst but i might use 1 or 2 more things. im almost done and only need to update 1 or 2 more maps. i think that everyone may like this new updated version of the mod when i am done. will be a much bigger improvement i think. should be done in the next 2 days.

Pretty sure all of the assets for ODSTs, and other changes are all available on nexus. Check that mod site for info because Ruby is really cool about sharing stuff once he finishes mods. Would love to see what you could do with all of that extra stuff
