Hey, are you sure it's just about the update and not this specific map? Performance should be same or better since I actually optimized a few parts of the code.
You may try lowering the vehicle count and increasing wave spawn time, those two usually have the biggest effect on the performance.

If you read this, pefomance is very bad in this last update. Previous version has better perfomance with the same amount and type of units.
