The gore settings have always been there in the multiplayer options though

in 2024 now a days there should be something on settings called gore

I'm kinda confused. So does this mod essentially makes the death animations appear more frequently or does it effect simply the rag doll aspect of it?

This mod is old and not getting anymore updates: but it still works like a dream and infected are way more satisfying to kill now. Awesome stuff!

Are there any mods that remove the primary common infected death animations? I want them to just drop to the ground when they die at a full sprint.

I'm interested in trying ragdoll for commons and maybe also survivors,

but does it host local okay or conflict or do weird thing like that to where ppl cant join ur game and get dropped, because,

I already spent like 5 days going through my sub'd addons, to get my hosting to work okay again, and Now I have to do that again, cos I sub'd to a bunch more lol lol

Absolutely a must have mod

The death animations compliment the ragdoll physics, really. The only thing missing is how guns or even melee affect the physics. For example, L4D1 allowed for ragdolls to be propelled from shotguns.
