umm i dont know why but as im going down the tracks at 106 k/m, i see a piston fly be the cockpit at about 2x the speed i as going, then i pull up to the nearest station and as im checking all of the doors, nothing is there. so as im going back the cockpit, the train sways a little, 2 seconds later, my framerate goes down like 3 fps then the whole untire train explodes and i cant figure out y please help me?

This, was simply phenomenal. I played train conductor for a while, I went to the bar to have a drink, then I ended up going masochistic and crashing it into a heavy armor wall at 100m/s. You've inspired me to try to create a yard train that can turn corners and switch tracks.

I love the shunting/coupling mechanism you put in with the button. This really shows off the true inventive spirit of space engineers.

@miraboreas123 the rails are created using three different pieces for each section (left/right rail, center piece and post)

@wifin, they do not deform. in the vanilla game you can use any type of block that does not deform for your rails, you will just have to design the wheels to fit it. (you may be able to use deformable blocks for slow speed use)

Mind if I ask how you made the rails? Are they from a particular mod, or did you make them yourself ingame?
WiFiN 17. sep. 2014 kl. 13:06
I assume these tracks do not deform. Which vanilla block can be used as a rail? Also, does it work that well as a mobile structure? I'm in the middle of a huge project and and I'm thinking of an in-ship tram line like in Dead Space

@Diehard, good to know, thank you!

@Joseph, I think I will let people modify it on their own. any changes would be to to train itself.

Just as a note, the mods get automatically downloaded when you subscribe to the workshop project =)

So no need to worry about finding them all by hand (if you wanna run the map that is)

If you want to use the mods to build your own creations, THEN you need to go download all the mods.

Munnei 15. sep. 2014 kl. 9:19
cool
Baryonyx 15. sep. 2014 kl. 6:48
Wow, so cool! If you get curved tracks it will be perfect! :P
Solaris 14. sep. 2014 kl. 14:42
what lovely Music... what is it :O btw love the train... now only if they could add permanent rails then it would be much better!

@Bewarelmsniper, it just takes a while to load. be patient
✿ BewareImSniper ✿ 14. sep. 2014 kl. 8:05
When loading the world up it stays stuck on the loading screen. When I press Esc I can hear the sound effect. Any reason why?
Drenamow 14. sep. 2014 kl. 0:45

@rcrevolst, I have been contemplating a few designs for such a build.
Unicord 13. sep. 2014 kl. 8:10
i have a request, make a airplane. it would be cool to have working doors or working landing gear!

Metalwrench 12. sep. 2014 kl. 17:05
Excellent Work!!!! Love It !!!!!!!!
Le_Flemard 12. sep. 2014 kl. 12:48
a suggestion to make it turn : separate the wheels in 3 section, each section attached to the train by rotor (disabled and no stopping forces)
IIN8II  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2014 kl. 11:59
@Loki, not at the moment. Cornering will take some serious redesign of the wheel structure.
Da Gooze 12. sep. 2014 kl. 10:48
awesome dude !
JCapt 12. sep. 2014 kl. 9:32
Cool!
Loki 12. sep. 2014 kl. 5:34
