@Proxy Yes, there is an artificatial limit on the size of a mod on the Homewold Workshop (2.3GB) forciing us to split the mod into the DLC's.

@hinikin43 No. We still are planning to release a final patch with seme fixes, but it's otherwise content complete.

How does Flak work? I keep giving them the attack and move order, but then Galactica decides to attack the nearest ship, turning towards it

Perhaps, I gave an example of the battle that I did played. So let's say each faction has 10 Frigates & 2 Battlestar Class clashing at each other with at least 50 fighters. This kind of setup will lags. :(

Hi Bings, it's Single Player (Skirmish Mode) basically with 4 AIs on Hard Mode.

Which gamemode are you playing? We've done our best to keep performance as good as possible but we had to take make some compromises to make flak work on AI and our models and textures are pretty top-end.

And are these player human or AI?

Hi, love the mods and the details that come with it. Any idea how to improve the performance of this mods? I try lowering the Graphics but still lags when play 5 Players at skirmish mode, specifically when it comes to big battle.

@Microsoft Edge, You need to move the colonial civ ships towards the marker/pointer (visible in sensor mode) for them to jump. The Galactica is suposed to defend the civ ships in this mission. To complete the mission all ships need to have jumped.

Hey I'm currently stuck on the second campaing mission and just lost, am I supposed to attack the cyclon while moving the civis some where else or trying to destroy the cylons

@Sierra-092, The Orion has a stealth abillity (which needs to be researched). Electronic Warfare is not included.

I think you misread my response to another person talking about a Stargate mod, not the BSG mod.

But ultimately the franchise owner calls the shots and mods are to the mercy of their decisions.

Wait, there was some sort of legal thing that prevented a MOD from having content, LMAO, you are making no money off it, they have nothing to go after, they are just douche-canoes and they can legally go pound sand in their greedy corpo puckers. Artistic expression is not a felonious crime. No really. No money in your hand is none in theirs. just sayin and it isnt even theirs it was Glen A. Larson's. IMHO the studio and owners of the IP deserve a drubbing for missing the boat on their IP, no good studio sponsored games, no fleet wargame, RPG game that blew, no wargame models (then being A-Holes about people who made them), no expanded universe! Absolutely no, they botched their IP like an orange ape is botching everything.

@Livingcoffee Short answer: Sadly no.

Lond answer: There was previously a stargate mod for Homeworld:RM, which I happened to actually work on (it was not apart of Ensemble), but it was C&D by Slitherine/MGM (due to Stargate Timekeepers & a poor decision to also announce a 'fan-game' by the the modding group who controlled the mod - Phoenix Interactive).

Going back to ensemble, we don't have any plans for the future as it stands.

Responding to your comment: Sadly HW:RM isn't great for this. With the Valkyrie we trailed this (ie ability to add the wing), but it didn't turn out too great :(

Hi Bings I was not complaining or condemning this mod or any work anyone has done here. I am not a huge fan of Deadlock and I think it is the game that missed the boat. No, I like this mod a lot. Thanks and to anyone else who works on it as well. Have a good weekend and I cant wait to play more I have just scratched the surface, again.:steamthumbsup:

I must apologize for my late arrival Ladies and Gentleman, do forgive, I see the real BSG game has been found at LAST! Can we get a shipbuilder and a weapon editor, I just downloaded and havent even played it yet but I always wanna look at the nuts and bolts and firing pins and recoil cylinders? Oh man! I bee playing Stellaris and making it as BSG as I can, and I played Smedlock. But I always remembered the Homeworld 2 MOD I played many Yarn ago ( hunched in a cold tent on the side of a mountain with just the PC and some hooch for warmth) and.....all this has happened before and will happen again. Thank You!:steamhappy:

@faf Ships can indeed be repaired in skirmish! For the Colonials you will need a Loki class frigate. Keep the Loki near the ships that need repairs.

For the Cylons you can use a Resurrection Ship. It works the same way as a Loki would.
Most Cylon ships can repair themselves though with the right research.

@Wraelyth, if you could post a thread in the help forums on our Discord server we can have a look at what's going wrong.

Steps what you can do right now:
Remove the mod from your subscriptions (and the DLC dependencies as well) and make sure it's deleted from the steam Workshop content folders.

Restart steam (just in case)

Sub to the mod and their dependencies again and try again.

@Militant_Cybernet, 33 is a difficult mission. Some players did report the mission being too difficult.

Try micro managing Galactica, especially with ctrl+a moves (Attack any/Flak)

I love the mod and have been playing it pretty consistently for awhile, but haven't been able to for awhile. Now all I get on startup is an error message that reads "General Failure" in 6 different languages. I was wondering if yall had seen similar issues and if a fix for it might have been found?

Goober (Me), found and solved my issue. Ran launcher during a power outage and the lack of internet prevented the launcher from sorting the mods and allowing them to be enabled together.

So by default our 'Huge' unit cap has the maximum amount of fighters the engine will allow (250).

However if you want to play without all the other unit caps being so high, you can enable this submod to increase the fighter caps whilst having the rest of the fleet on lower unit caps.

This mod is by far my favorite mod for Homeworld as a whole. Launching a swarm of vipers in the fray of a hectic battle between Basestars and Battlestars is, for me, one of the high points of this mod. But I feel like the unit cap for vipers is too small. At the highest possible cap for skirmish, I can only completely fill around 3 Battlestars before running out of vipers. This is a problem for me because I like to have a lot (and I mean a LOT) of fighters to help defend my ships. Are there any mods that work with this one that can raise the unit cap, or is there a way to raise it by editing the mod files, or am I out of luck?

is there anything that can stop nukes? I was playing some mp games and once the cylons get nukes its pretty much over for the colonies, flak doesnt seem to defend against it and jumping away is too slow.
