I never found out how to fix it, sorry. The issue bugs me too, but thankfully I don't really play CTA.

nice work i see u mentioned the headgear issue i too noticed an issue with headgear of company of heroes models made for mow imported into cta gates of hell while under direct control their helmets hover around their hips i was hoping perhaps there is a fix you may have come across something to edit in the headgears mdl file maybe? if not no biggie the issue just puzzles me.

@Nigel Thiccbottom This is a general issue with the game, not something to do with this mod. However, try restarting Steam - it might just solve it.

@scoobyjew, no such issue on my end. Make sure to ONLY run this mod and nothing else, especially not anything that adds or modifies units/Conquest.
If the issue persists, please provide more detail (attack/defense, factions involved)

i need a hand with conquest, whenever i start up a conquest i get an "Exception" program will be terminated along with rip rax rcx rsi and a bunch of other stuff? i really like this mod in skirmish but i wanna try conquest

Maybe, but I'm also not the first one to use assets (be it 2d art or 3d models etc.), so it's definitely not something illegal. Plus AS2 CW was developed (and abandoned) by DMS, and CTA is also their game, so the assets don't get out of their sphere of influence.

Oh, in that case I can easily describe it for you:
Since CTA has no physical headgear in inventory of soldiers, and this mod does, the issue appears. And that issue is that the headgear will appear tilted and floating above a unit's head (but only in direct control).

I have not played CTA in at least a year and was thinking of reinstalling ,after trying out GOH after a similar break ,and your mod caught my eye.

Yes. Just search for "Men of War Assault Squad 2 Cold War gameplay" on the internet, then imagine the same thing in Call to Arms. As mentioned in the description, this is just a port of that game into CTA.

It has everything AS2 CW did, simple as that (and that game is known to have had shit singleplayer content in the form of a "dynamic" campagin which is literally just the earliest version of Conquest)
