the connection's terrable

The fix is to unsub because this mod hasn't had an update since over a year ago.

I have tried 3 times to use this mod now but always after like 5 minutes my guys completely freeze and wont unfreeze, is there a known fix for this?

it works fine if you play as intended, but not being able to play on anything other than peaceful with no AI really sucks and kinda defeats the purpose of multiplayer

Any way to fix the map sync issues?

Looking forward to when this may be available on Mac! My wife and I would love to play together.

I've tried many times to get this mod to work, and it doesn't. Don't waste your time or the headache!

And the AI art matters how? if the guy doesn't want to spend money on art then let the guy use AI he isn't selling the mod, sure theres a patreon but thats completely your choice to give the guy money or not

Me and my friend are playing at peacefulll and his game (I'm the host) starts by his villagers are freezing. When we try to restart his food doesnt harvest for some reason. Not really playable atm it seems like

It’s been a while since a friend and I have been testing the multiplayer mod for Kingdoms and Castles, and it’s really great. The game becomes very enjoyable. However, I noticed that when we play in a mode other than passive mode (for example, when dragons or Vikings attack), the game keeps running, but the villagers freeze. This also happens when we build the port. Moreover, at certain moments that I can’t explain, my villagers freeze, while my friend can still continue building. I’d like to know why this happens so that I can keep playing with my friend without my villagers freezing.

Mod is working fine, my friend and I got up to late game with vikings invaders and massive military battles, be warned minor performance issues in the late game but fine otherwise,

@Zysho, the mod is definitely not a scam. It's also disingenuous to say it's "been in development for 7 years." While I did attempt this mod nearly 7 years ago, I lacked the capability to see it through. Actual development began around November 2023 when I decided to try again.

The Patreon is for those who wish to support the development. Creating this mod takes time and sometimes money. For instance, I'm personally covering the cost of hosting the master server for the server browser, this is my choice however.

I have a full-time job and now parental responsibilities, so my time is more limited than ever. This mod is complex and time-consuming, so I appreciate your patience.

Feel free to join the Discord, where you can see I'm working on refactoring the networking implementation to improve stability and scalability. This will make implementing other features and gameplay functionalities much easier.

I'd also like to point out that this has been in development for 7 years, and hes asking for money on patreon. It may have started as a fun project, but it is now a scam.
