If the extra HP is stored in a partial health bar it would fix all the HP glitches.

Can't replicate your issue, could be some other mod that does changes to max hp and conflicts with mine, try testing with only my mod and see if issue persists.

I'm having a issue where I can't heal half of my hp I tried with a new character and it worked fine the max hp the character I've been using has is at least 5000 hp but I can't heal past at least 3000 hp can you explain why this is

The internal buff name is Overhealed, could have some prefixes such as the mod name or author name, for that I cannot help.

You can max out your over-heal really easily with the nurse. Gets even more crazy-powerful when you have the accessory. (cool accessory by the way I really like the idea and used it a lot)

There is a compatibility toggle in Server Config, this will cause you to seem to have missing 5 hp most of the time so that the player is a valid target for healing from any source including mods such as thorium or calamity.

GREAT mod concept and functionally a fun addition that makes some potions feel less wasteful without being overpowered
Is there any way to disable the effect on the player character though? Those bouncing +s make it easy to tell when I'm overhealed but it's really distracting

It seems that if you drink a healing potion and it wastes some of the heal, it just adds the potion heal value to overheal

is it possible for you to add a config for: a cooldown time change for this mod, potion sickness disable, cooldown for this mod disable and maybe a sort of backlash to this mod? like if its kept insanely high it forces a heart attack, poison like effect, that ill damage you constantly until half your maximum health?

That was fully intended, I just forgot to mention it, I'm gonna look for way to have a cooldown or something similar so nurse healing cannot be spammed.

healing with the nurse instantly maxes out overheal. i think you should patch this because it'd make the game far too easy.

Check in config, you can configure the maximum Overheal as well as how much you gain.

Can you add the ability to adjust the overheal percentage? Having default 200% hp is hilarious but it's still best to have more options.
