Sorry for asking so many questions. If I'm going to download from Nexus, I want to be sure it's safe.

Save game script cleaner by Hadoram

Which save game cleaner mod would you reccomend?

SkyUI is available on Steam. I provided the Steam link for that mod.
SKSE is an executable that Steam will not install for you. I provided the link to the original site and would people not to trust any other source.

Steam is a great resource for finding many mods and is well integrated with Skyrim.
However, Steam is really a kind of safe, limited venue.

If you want to make Skyrim truly great (new capabilities, incredible graphics) you will have to leave Steam and learn to use a different set of tools. You take on more risk. It is very easy to break Skyrim by modding if you don't know what you are doing.
Skyrim Nexus is a good place to start, but certainly not the only place, if you want to find advanced mods.

Is there some sort of tutorial for Nexus? I went there once, and it was rather confusing.
Magnolia538 12 nov, 2014 @ 17:58
Why aren't they available on Steam? And which site is better for finding mods?

Much as I really love SkyUI, the MCM system is sometimes slow to load menus on slower computer systems (and even faster ones).
This mod is designed to help with that, but it may not resolve 100% of people's challenges.
My best advice would be to use a save game cleaner mod. (Not available on Steam, but through other sites such as Skyrim Nexus.) A clean save game can significantly improve play.

Sometimes subscribed mods won't load. Sometimes the MCM menu doesn't show any mods. I don't know what to do. Please help!

O.O will this make My TARDIS mod have the mcm menu again?
