Would it be possible to add a prefix to the hairstyle names like other mods to too? So they are easier to find among all the other hairstyles

Yeah, I made them to fit the vanilla head shapes so they might look a bit funky on some modded heads unfortunately.

Absolutely love the style of these, but sadly many of these beards do not play nice with facial animation and Reel's retexture. The beards end so high up they sit under the pawns eyes. Not on you author, but just commenting for reference. Beautiful work!

Great mod! Love the hairstyles. It was unfortunately giving me errors/extreme lag after the mod update today. I'm running a heavily modded play through but taking this out seemed to fix. The error log was spammed with drawing exception errors for almost every entity (person, corpse, animal.)

Hope this helps anyone else with the same issues!

Is it just me or do the beards never ever fit right? Am I doing something wrong?

These hairs look outstanding in the game, thanks. I don't think anyone on the rim has had a shower in a long time and now they look it. Anyway, the beards are nice looking too but they don't seem to be fitting properly on the wider, square-jawed faces. Possibly an over-correction from the earlier skinny face issues?

As i can add a "hardcoded" ideology to the faction (where i can define which hairstyles are used) i think i will be able to have them use the hair.

As for me i already use and enjoy your mod - but i would like to keep the dependencies of the mod as low as possible (i do rely on some Gene and armor mods e.g. which are essential.) To have the faction (orcs, dwarfs and nords to be specific) with such well made hair would just be a bonus.

So, much appreciated that i can use your assets! I will credit you and forward via link to this mod (which is a essential for medieval playthroughs imho!)

So it looks like Ludeon changed how the hair and beards render on narrow heads with 1.5 they kinda get squished it looks a lot better now tbh and it's not like I spent far too long trying to get the beards to perfectly fit and now they're all messed up nope not this guy that totally didn't happen definitely not.

Anyway, just updated to fix the beards.

Anybody tested it with 1.5? Man, imma need dem beards with Anomaly.

Thank you both! I tried editing my save, turning off classic mode, editing the default ideology, and allowing all of the hairstyles, but that didn't seem to work. Especially weird since the particular hairstyle is was using was already allowed, yet didn't appear in the styling station menu. In the end, I just downloaded a mod that turns the "Looks Change Requested" mood debuff to 0.

@shybread Thanks a lot! glad you're liking it.

I think it might be because of the style tags for the hairstyles, they were all tagged as "rural" only so pawns with certain cultures might get the look change mood. It's not something that came up whilst i was testing things out so I'm not 100%.

Either way it can't hurt to add more style tags so I've just updated with a few more that I thought were fitting, let me know if you still get the issue.

Despite no ideology being loaded much of the underlying game code still actually uses an ideology. It's just not shown to the player. It's basically the 'default' ideology. What is likely happening is that the hairstyles were added to the game but it didn't update the allowed hairstyles for the default ideology giving you that error message. You'll probably have to devmode it in to the ideology somehow. I never not used ideology so I have no idea how to do that. You may need to use Faction Customizer mod as it should, I think, give you backdoor access to your ideology if you edit your own faction.

Awesome! Unlike a bunch of the other hair mods this one is really great and will fit with a lot of playthroughs. Others are nice, but are very specific to certain kind of vibe.

@ziyonblack2009 Mods should download automatically when you hit the subscribe button on the mod page. You need to activate the mod from the in game mod menu once it's downloaded then you should be good to go.
