yes, this is a problem which is why the map hasn't been used as much, Server owners need to update to the final version!

I HAS QUESTION, the server that i play on's (frost gaming) map doesnt match with this one, i downloaded all other 3 but that didnt seem to fix anything, is there a way to fix this?

It's okay, It was partly my fault updating the map 3 times because i'd set the previous version of map to upload instead of the new one as well

Nah, I get it. Turns out I had the bsp local AND had it in the server collection. Steam was pushing the updated map to the users and using the local bsp for the server. My own stupid fault. Sorry I even said anything. :)

ultimately I'd like servers to refresh their maps.. any new servers created will only be able to use the updated maps.. lastly if servers dont update their maps there is a potential to downgrade versions as a last resort.. the disadvantage being steam didnt push my update for a while.

Right -- but servers that may running local bsp's versus a steam collection with the map get hit with mismatch errors until they realize the problem. (I know that it can happen with any addon, but server ops are more likely to extract and run local bsps if they want to fastdl the maps). Anyway, I was being more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that normal yesterday, so I apologize for the tone. I was probably the last person on earth to realize what was going on. :)

Ugh. Releasing an update of a map with the same name just creates complete chaos. The Jan update should have been added a new map... v41 or something.
