Could it be that the electric is set to infinite electric and you are starting it without turning on the Electrical system?
The gyro sensor of this aircraft operates by turning on the Electrical system.

I may be doing something wrong, but the gyro seems to be broken/glithced. Is this a me issue?

Hardpoints located at the bottom of the aircraft are used to suspend additional equipment from the aircraft and exchange signals.
