I have no weight in the conversation, but mods don't need to exist in a vacuum, while this might be "inefficient" in vanilla with no other mods, there's mods that let you convert people to Ideologions other than your own, and mods that enable you to have multiple Ideoligions in your colony, meaning with this mod if you convert them to a more subservient Ideologion that doesn't Proselytize you never need to worry about them spreading it to your higher-caste Ideoligions.

You are comparing apples and oranges.

Mules are infertile but they come from fertile parents. Mules would cease to exist if horses and donkeys became infertile because the species would die out.

The same goes for ideologies and memes. The moment a meme or idea stops being spread, it starts to die off. Whether that die is a crossbreed or not. It doesn't matter.

The ideology still can spread by prisoners, or converted by the cleric.

Technically that would mean the ideology would die out by default and hence wouldn't exist.

It's like creating an animal with 0% fertility. It's not going to exist for very long
