Hey simba. Love to hear it and looking forward to seeing it. I believe that if you spawn in a building the game doesn't spawn zombies in with you. Could try launching in debug, spawning some zeds in the building and pulsing some sounds to get them to disperse a bit and then spawn back in with your normal guy

Hey everyone, how are you?

I wanted to make some cinematic productions on this wonderful map of yours, and I chose the iconic building in the last photo as my spawn point. However, (even though I activated it in the sandbox so zombies can spawn anywhere), as soon as I spawn, the building is completely empty. Do you know how I can start this challenge already with the mission of getting out of the building alive?

@Brindav no worries, next update is just about wrapped up - a little more testing to do to make sure nothing is extremely broken, but probably looking at later tonight or tomorrow for an update to the map. Appreciate you checking it out!

hi kinda stupid question but thinking about making another save, are we close from another update and i should wait a bit or can i jump into it without risk of missing out something ?

@Alex Caruso Not sure why you're getting that in B42 the only two that are required in B42 mod.info page are \tikitown_tiles,\Erikas_Tiles

I am confused on how to use this map on B42 as my game says it needs DideriksTilePalooza and EN_Newburbs but I thought those were both b41 tile packs that have not been ported to 42

Hey Paradox. No worries but yes that's correct. When I originally took down all the B41 stuff for B42 I was thinking a few weeks at most but it's been a while and I've lost most of the B41 pics unfortunately.

This might be a silly question, but when I play on version 41 I only get what I assume is the old version of the map. Does all the new stuff I see in the pics and screenshots only appear if you play this map on 42?

@DjGibbs420 Absolutely! I've been slacking on setting the pickup flags for them recently, but will be fixing that in the coming updates. Thanks for the feedback and the reminder to revisit those tiles

Theres alot of cool items and pictures/posters for decoration. Would be awesome if you could make it so that more can be picked up. Some are that way but not many besides standard furniture. Id love to have a few in my base. Lol.

My guy you are ruining me.
For the first time im actually trying to clear cities, mostly apoc lil bit extra peak pop, month 4 now.
I'v been trying to enter tikitown, ENTER, for a month, after clearing constown and grapeseed mostly without struggling.
I'm runnig out of ammo and melee weapons, again! I just came back after going to muldraugh and rosewood to restock.
Cleared the west side entry, pissed off to restock. Came back with half a ton of bullets firefighter axes and such, nearing 30 thousand kills, 25 are your fault. I honestly dont know if i love or i hate it. I'll need to take echocreek next, holyjesuslordinchrist give me strength.
Clearing tikitown is the new goal of the save, i will clear this god forsaken place no matter what it takes.
You will not have the best of me goddammit! >:(

@Mr. Kobaltz SOG I forgot to update the pyramid in this last update, so it's not entirely up to date, but if you like the pyramid style map there is a pyramid.txt file that you can use if you rename to .zip. I don't think it's properly lined up in the current version though, but this next update will have it aligned and colored correctly.

Is the in game map still not working? Can we download the zip another way and add it ourselves? Maybe from like discord?

i play in tikitown on my main save. but there is something wrong with my modlist and i want to make new one. but i dont want to lost all of my built basecamp in my main save. is there any way that i can copy and paste my basecamp file to new one?

@gary.harrison85 Yeah they switched to pyramid maps for the default map, I believe there's a setting to use the old map, but the pyramid map files are .zip and you cannot upload zip files to workshop, so until they do a work-around in a future build it won't show up on the pyramid map

thanks, im B42 and created a new save game to add in the map and the two mods required. I can explore the town but my in game map will not open.

@gary.harrison85 if you're on Build 41 you'll need to add additional tilepacks, linked in the description, the required mods on this page are for B42. You can also not add it mid-game without some save file manipulation, and make sure you enable it when you load a new game.

Hey arapsavar yeah, unfortunately the way PZ handles it you have to have the tiles for the map to load at all.

Hey. My pc is kinda low end and I wanted to know what would happen if i skipped the tiles. Do they affect performance?

Also, sorry if that ended badly by falling through the wall, hate to be cause of that :(

@yeezy I think so yeah, at least in B42 I believe you have to reset the chunks as it builds out the chunks even without being visisted. I'm not 100% on that, but seem to recall that being the case

@BOKHAK14 Somehow the B41 worldmap and objects file was gone even though I didn't change anything in B41 files. I've pushed out an update this morning, apologies to all my B41 folks

after your update, remain buildings except maps. I can`t see in map. i`m run dedicated server and did cleanup chunk, it same.

I have Tikitown installed but haven't been to the location on my current b42 save yet. Following the update, do I need to look for Tikitown-related chunks and delete them from my save folder or is there no need as they'll generate when I get there?

@DatBoiT$ Make sure when you're launching a new game that you turn the mods on, if you're on B42 it's Drazion and Erika's tilepack and Tikitown. If it's in an active save, there's are some steps you have to take to remove already generated chunks on an existing save if that's what you're trying, but I don't have the link handy

I cannot get this map to load. I've downloaded all of the tile packs (some of which dont have a b42 vertsion) and i've restarted my save twice and I cant see this map at all.

Absolutely love this map, has become one of my favorite ones to play everytime!

We've got some good updates in the works for the next one! The foraging map is working, the random sand issue everywhere is fixed, a bunch of new locations to explore and a return of the custom boxes with random surprises inside that was in the B41 post office, but this time in our own new location so as to not conflict with TIS' own postal system.

Should be a good update, but we're holding on to this one for the next big patch in case there are other things to address.

Small update, the post office package system is now back in and working as it should. We are also working on another expansion coming in the next month or so. Thanks again for checking out the map. Make sure you leave a rate!

이맵을 플레이하다가 42버전 업뎃 초기에 42버전으로 만들어졌던 그레이프시드 맵 처럼 특정지역 진입시 팅김 현상을 발견했다 지역은 정확히는 기억 안나는데 전당포 근처 였음 맵의 중앙부분
구독 취소하고 새 캐릭터를 만들어서 맵.ver.bin 파일을 붙여 넣어서 해결함

Mini map is now active and working, showing all locations in the town, main map will be fixed this week.

Drazion will be working on the new pyramid map after the holidays. This will fix the map issue. Thanks for letting us know and feel free to tel us know if you find more

I loaded up a new solo, map is loaded up fine. Now if you press M for map, it looks like they changed the entire map for some reason. Non of the modded maps show up on that. But i am freely walking around the town. I hope that helps.
