Why do the sounds emit from your head in both ears rather than from the NPC?

And can the sounds have an option to use stock sounds instead of the exaggerated "death screams" that go on forever?

Why did I download it, but it doesn't work for me and the sounds are still vanilla (from hl2)? I even deleted the last addon that replaces combine sounds, but this one still doesn't work.

please make it so you can select what models to have reasfx female death sounds and what models to not have reasfx death sounds
the only thing this mod ever needs

what do you mean "use the context menu"? and what should I do there I just have a bug that the sounds are not playing and then I saw your comment though I didn't understand what to do

I found a fix btw. Just use the menu that you can find in the context menu instead of the one in the tools tab! Only the one in the tools tab doesn't work. :D

The unit down speech sequence is run in conjunction with the metrocop death sound

i didnt want to simply overlay the reasfx deathsound on top of the combine one cuz then it wouldnt really be belivable, so in code i just stop the deathsound dialogue sequence, it just so happens that the overwatch death report is also tied to said sequence.

the sounds only get quiet over a distance, but dont actually change depending on which direction its from

make reasfx sounds directional and come fro mthe right origin point (the ragdoll's mouth). I find it annoying that I can hear a ragdoll screaming in both ears at the same volume when they are directly to the right of me. Just sounds off.

i mean, as much as i really like half life 2 and its VO work, the "pain and death" voicelines are kinda sucky so....

you can always make a reasfx mod using the template i posted!
