The red version looks pretty bad, It looks like it's almost brown. other than that it's kinda nice, And looks like Spy almost.

Yeah I agree that the hue drifts a bit too far into a murky yellow. I'll give it a tinkering and see what I can do.

Not a fan of the fact that the red version is yellow. The brownish yellow just looks a bit ugly to me and I think a dark red could do a lot better.

Bonk Varnished does not have rotation lock unfortunately. Personally I felt like it was better to leave it to rotate freely though I appreciate how it being locked could be better.

Definitely need to use a WP base that has rotation lock. Not sure if bonk varnish does
