If anyone is interested, there are two problems with this patch on Linux (for Proton):
1 for configuration files you need to manually create subfolders
2 mods do not load after patch

emmm. I have updated Mod Loader manually. Download files manually and using Pck Tool to add new content to the vanilla pck file.

emmm. Log shows TLS handshake error. Maybe it was caused by local reverse proxy? I am using it.

emmm. The new version still not working. It displayed the download has completed but actually empty files and error accessing options files. You may add a new function to import local files to make the system works.:successchip:

sorry to hear that, I look into it. If you are on the Brotato Discord can you ping me and send me your log file?
In the Install Dir should be Brotato_original.pck, delete the Brotato.pck and rename the other one to restore the original version.

After clicking the patch button brotato closed and won't start again. It opens the loading screen and closes.

Thanks for your comment @QianMo I will improve the error handling for the HTTP requests with better user feedback. This are the 2 files the patcher tries to download:

Maybe not working ? Maybe network issues ? I clicked patch button and the game restarted. But it still has patch button in the mods menu and the game folder has cached 0KB files in ModLoaderPathcer folder. It seems the content has failed to download. emmm.
