Yeah it's a tad bit aggressive on the culling in front of you and as you turn but it's really cool.

One issue I have noticed is that if you are inside of a Simfphys Tank (Even in third person) the addon culls other Simfphys tanks even if you can (or should be able to) see them.

This Mod is Very Aggressive and seems to Cull everything in front of you.

Sorry if I'm late, but one flaw I've noticed: since the culling algorithm references the center of the object, the model can unload before you've finished turning away from them. Impressive optimization nonetheless; this could be very useful to those who need it.

I've noticed this addon may not be compatible with BSMod Punch SWEP + Kick & KillMoves . When your addon is enabled, the legs used for kicking in that BSmod addon sometimes can disappear. Maybe you can look into this issue and see if you can make it compatible.

I should have been more clear in that statement... The quality of the mod should be eventually better with a newer update some point in either the next few days or an entire week possibly a bit longer.

I strongly recommend not installing this. It will make your FPS worse in the vast majority of cases. It is obvious from a cursory reading the code that this guy does not know what he is doing, which I describe in my response to that pull request. I have no reason to "trash talk" this uploader, but I feel that users should be aware that there is no actual quality control on workshop and this is not a quality addon.

The c_hands issue stems from the fact I was using Linux instead of Windows. So I used proton to figure out what the issue was. Will be resolved in a few moments here. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused people. Arc9 and CW 2.0 etc.. should work just fine now.

I tried using this for TTT2 and while I really like the idea, there are definitely a good amount of issues I encountered. Pop in is very strong and with CW2.0 (Yes I am still using it, I know) c_hands appear when dropping weapons and the weapon model lags behind in first person. I can definitely see the potential for this, I compared it in a map that I heavily modified with the Modest Map Manipulator and easily saw a 15-25% fps improvement!

I use this addon to have a higher than normally allowed FOV in the game because I use an Ultrawide (21:9 aspect ratio) monitor.

With this configuration, I experience a ton of "pop in" and "pop out" near the edges of the screen.

Its way too noticeable when objects pop in and out on detailed maps. This addon has a lot of potential though, good job.

The addon shouldn't mess with Arc9 attachments, I do have Arc9 installed. Will revisit and figure out a solution if it is bugged however for further assistance please submit a bug report to our Github page

@ItsBen_ Please submit a bug report to our github page, as I cannot reproduce this issue with the latest patch using c_hands based sweps. If the current patch is reverted it will produce the bug. That being said, the latest version of this workshop addon should not have this bug.

The issue was fixed, you were probably running an older version of the mod. Typically Garry's mod does update your mods but they will not change until you either change map or restart Garry's mod. If there is further issue I'll be gladly able to assist

Oh and c_hands still appear on the middle of the map and some weapons are buggy with this mod

For some reason a 3D model of sanic appears on the middle of the map so I guess this mod is not compatible with the Sanic Hegehog nextbot

There are still a lot of bugs I encountered just like below. And sometimes, some parts of the map disappears.

bugs i've seen with the addon:

user's playermodel and c_hands show up in the middle of the map (admin cleanup does nothing) (context menu also does nothing)

arc9 weapon's handguard and iron sights duplicated and offset to be infront of the original handguard

npc transparency flicker (going invisible and visible rapidly)
