You can change the values although it won't apply to existing builds.

Honestly one of the better mods out there for this kind of stuff, I highly recommend but will say, not perfect and takes a while to get the right balance with custom settings, but has been a permanent addition to my mod list.

Not sure why so few downloads over the year considering the barricade and building mechanic in the original game is pretty lackluster with paper-thin buildings that collapse after a zombie hits it for ten minutes. This, plus long-standing wooden/long standing metal constructions, stronger furniture barricades, and mod to repair walls is all you need. Maybe eggon's mod to be able to take doors, too.

Hi Rabbit, did you ever figure out the opening/closing mechanic resetting gate hp back to default? My wire fence gate is always stuck at 500 :(

Hi Pooky. They should be affected by the general bonus rather than the frame ones; or at least they did so during testing. Please could you confirm if they're not affected by the general bonus for you?

Metal and wired fences do not use wall frames, you just weld the whole thing in place. So they don't get any stronger from this mod..
Would be nice to fix that=)

I am running other mods too, I have it set to 50x I will do some testing and see what mod specifically is causing the conflict.

Thanks @David. That certainly is odd; please could I ask if you run into that issue when running only this or also other mods at the same time? What setting did you use for the barricade health?

I did edit my sandbox settings so it should be applied like normal.

I've edited the HP amounts on barricades. And I can't seem to put more than one on a window. Is this a bug because I added it mid save? Or too much health? Just wondering, thanks!

So, I've done a bit of testing and found that this appears to be a vanilla issue. With 0 and 10 carpentry, the double wooden gate has 300 or 800 health but opening and closing it will set the middle part to 500 in either case.

This is generally not noticeable but using a mod where the value might be 2000 makes that 500 a lot more noticeable. I'll try looking into seeing about a possible fix once I've hunted down where the opening/closing mechanics are in the code. Hopefully it should be easy although not guaranteed. Thank you for reporting this as an issue.

i found out that any double gate middle part got reset to its original health after being opened. is it intentional or maybe mod incompatiblity? nice mod tho :steamthumbsup:

The ID is 3024357773. I've put that back in the description too. It certainly should although I've not had the opportunity to test it. I'd love to hear feedback if you're able to test it in multiplayer.

@sco Yes, doors have their health increased. They're affected by the general, carpentry and handy bonuses.
