That's just the frames per second the game renders at. The tick rate is how the engine processes all the logic behind the game, aprticularly the AI behavior. Every MCC game past CE is basically doing everything at twice the speed, including enemy firing rate, because 343 thought "big number = better", basically.

oh? i haven't had that issue when testing though it might depend on what weapons you're carrying over... as i had to like, sort of gimmick to fix the carry over. Also, it might be MCC doin MCC things because UE4 is really unstable.

loving the mod so far, it seems that a update may have broke the missions storm and floodgate, causing a fatal error once final cutscene stops... LOVE the mod so far though!

I am actually working on updating this mod b/c behind the scenes, the first 3 levels are a cluster... due to how they have AI resources; tho not all levels have them for some reason. It broke a few things that kind of go unseen for the most part but it makes it a pain to keep track of what is what.

After that, I'll probably update my ODST mod; there's a few things I didn't know were a thing like overall lower melee damage and the spiker for some reason has the highest melee damage of all normal weapons including more than brute shot; sword is still higher though.

Maybe then i'll finally get back to Reach lmao

sounds good! lmk if you have any feedback or issues. i'm currently working on redoing the missions that use AI resources because i messed them up when i moved the scenarios to a different directory. they'll play a little different than what's in the current mod.

I have a very hard time playing vanilla nowadays. All the things I corrected, fixed, and added make it very difficult for me to ever go back. I have seen a few people say that this is how they play Halo 3 now if they want a vanilla esque experience which is amazing. I'm happy you enjoyed it! Been working on a minor update for it but it's taking a while.

It may sound like heresy but I enjoyed your version MORE than the vanilla Halo 3, you corrected many of the errors that always bothered me (for example the flood elites that appear after killing the prophet of truth, when they should have been flood brutes) and the fact of being able to use the anti-aircraft wraiths is a bonus, I also love the detail that the elites are now more loreaccurate, and stop being a mockery like those in vanilla Halo 3, I can only say that I loved your work.

That is correct, an update was pushed today, it was only related to multiplayer matchmaking stuff times though. Until Kat updates the mod to make it compatible all you need to do is go to a mod's json file and set the version to 0.0.0.0 IIRC.

Tried downloading the mod today but it wont show up when trying to select a modded campaign. I think the game had an update recently so that might have something to do with it.

Nope, screenshots are just my mod ingame, nothing extra. A lot of them were taken in theater mode because it lets you pause and move camera around.

Replacing files manual now work with scoring, playing from the original H3 menu

After some checking with file structure files need to replace by hand as both maps file folder and halo3/fmod & halo3/maps are all separate in steam workshop folder, drag and drop method won't work.

Unfortunately, the option on score and timing is grey out, it may only work with map replacing method, but i already try once and crash

Your mods are just THE BEST mods for halo 3 and H3:ODST. I love your approach to these games, changing the ODST armor to the H3:ODST design, having more ODST´s in the game, more ammo, improving the AI behavior, the weapons changes, SCORPION MG! Friendlies following you past points that were "hard stops" before, everything hits the spot! In your H3:ODST mod, my praise continues, more marines and the BR being present, that's awesome! The only thing I could ask for is to add a transport hog at the crash site on the ark so we can ride with all our ODST boys in style hehehe, but that´s about it.

When I saw you saying that Reach was on the way, I was legit overjoyed and hyped for it! Reach is my favorite halo game ever, so I humbly request, be extra loving to reach, please!

And if it sounds like I am glazing your mod, well, I kind of am lol, but to me it´s well deserved given how good your spin on both these games is. Other halo mods come and go from my library, but your mods stays =)

I mean, personally, I agree. I uninstalled Infinite when they said no single player content was ever worker on after launch. There's even a video of sketch basically taking the mic from someone who said he looked forward to it.

I wish they would do more work on MCC. Theres so much thats hard coded we can't fix.

That's an amazing compliment. I appreciate it! Yea, Tsavo plays much differently with the Gauss Warthog, and honestly, it's better for it. I always hated the "Pelicans with heavy weapons" but it's just a Chaingun Warthog. Overall, yes, I have heard my mod makes the game easier, and that comes from a variety of reasons, primarily more ammo, and the fact that allies are more than just meat shields; they'll actually kill things on their own without needing babysitting.

As much as I'd love to add a DMR, this isn't the mod for that. I have modeled a Halo 3-esque DMR but as I can't texture, it remains unfinished. There are other things I'd like to do but it's been a task jumping between games and mods. I have a Reach mod in the works but it needs a lot of work and as such, has fallen to the side a little ways.

Never thought I’d see perfection be refined, honestly the best quality of life mod for Halo 3 that I’ve played, pretty much every nitpick has been rectified in this mod.

Granted I only played Sierra 117, Crow’s Nest, Tsavo Highway (gauss hog should have been there on release day one tbh, so much better), The Storm, and The Ark (not a big flood fan), but overall extremely fun and highly recommend for old head Halo fans and newcomers.

The magnum rework is also fantastic and I found myself actually using it for once, the ammo buff for weapons is also great and stops tedium scavenging the battlefield.

Would love to see the DMR reworked into the mod as well.

Found myself breezing through it though and will for sure try a run on legendary but that may just be me from playing Halo for so long.

Overall a fantastic mod and a fantastic job by the author, will for sure look forward to more work from them.

I still plan on doing Reach next, its just its incredibly easy to get distracted doing other things. I actually wanted to release part of it this past weekend but I didnt get around to it. I do need to play test it a bit and take screenshots for the workshop item before doing all that.

LOL, yea I didn't add elites all over like some mods. Not a fan of them just being there. If I ever do another version, sure, I'll add them in more places. I did try to fit Players 3 and 4 into the Cutscene where they talk about going through the portal and stuff.
