Updated March 14th: changed the salvo so it fires two railguns at a time, one on each opposite side, to cancel out the recoil. The remaining two will fire a split-second later if you hold down the trigger. This makes it actually reasonable to use them in combat.

Indeed. The railguns are probably good for a strong alpha strike

This is, by far, my favorite looking of the IMDC fighters. I know the railguns are of more limited use, but it's absolutely gorgeous and looks super mean.

I posted another version of it with 8x autocannon and 4x assault cannon. This version looks amazing, but I admit it's not the most practical for most purposes.

Quad railguns is definitely an interesting choice for a small ish fighter. Heavy Fighter perhaps?

I've got an update coming shortly. The railguns look awesome, no question. But the reality is they're just not that useful. So I'm replacing them with 4 assault cannon and 4 more autocannon. With 8 autocannon, it's basically going to be a small-grid deleter. And the assault cannon can provide a targeted blast against something larger. It'll still look good. Already finished it, but still have to take screenshots; I'll take care of it after I finish other projects.

Oh you have no idea. Between them and the new beds, everything has changed.

Update went even better than I hoped! It's now Pertam-certified! I'll update the pics at a later time. Not much changed visually.

Expect an update soon integrating the new flat atmospheric thrusters. They're free, base game. This will give you a bit better atmospheric fuel efficiency.

Once the DLC drops, you can be sure I'll be updating all my stuff.

Sure, go for it! Sounds like a great use for them! Check out my other refits as well. I think you'll be very happy with them. Hold off a couple of days on the new Atlas, though. I'm currently finishing up a huge update to improve it further.

It not a server its a mod,, called More Encounters. IMDC is a faction with in the Mod you can Fight, Trade, explore. take a look on my workshop i been doing these NPC mods for a while now . Also Factions fight other factions with in the mod. if your on discord i can talk to you about it more if you like. my feature mod was called More Encounter NPC wars. its well liked on Servers or single player games. and has been featured on keens steams and other steamers. i can add add your ship to the store block so players can buy the ships in game. they are other factions ,, made by others and my self, i got permission to use his "imdc" ships about 5 years ago now even that he allows anyone to use them i always ask first. it a very big fleet of IMDC ships so i keeped that Vision you are talking about best i can.

Well, tell me more about this server. Remember these aren't my original designs, they're JD Horx's. The IMDC was envisioned as a faction, not just generic ships on the open market, although the original IMDC Cerberus Mk II was used an NPC ship back when Keen used used community flagged ships as NPCs. So there's some opening there but just tell me about it.

Hello you doing Nice Rebuilds of the IMDC fleet i see,, I been using IMDC stuff now in the more Encounters Mods for 5 years or so and i currently updating it to V10. so i reaching to ask if it ok to use your updated Builds as NPC or for player to buy on store blocks etc.

Redid the internals, again. More hydrogen tanks, 2x O2/H2 Generators, Large Warfare Reactor. It now gets to orbit with a LOT more hydrogen remaining.
