Hey there! I made some modifications to the blueprint so that the "core" would be deleted when the server I play on does its regular reset, if it's been used. Would you mind if I upload that version publicly for anyone else on that server, or for anyone who plays a server with similar cleanup?

Well the first part seems to be fixed and the drone are flying to targets.
The second though.... Weapons in the Combat block are still dropping when disconnecting from the merge blocks. SIgh.....

Update appears to have fixed the issues with AI and merge blocks. Tell me if you continue to have issues. (Just make sure to update your game!)

They are aware of it.... As for fixing it...

There appear to be several semi-overlapping bug reports relating to this issue. Personally I see a hotfix coming out in the next 2-3 days being likely, but we can only hope.

Found a similar problem with my missile launcher too. Unmerging ai blocks turns off behavior. Keen, I think, is aware.

Yes, it would seem the update broke merge blocks + AI blocks, which the Caltrop obviously relies on. Spread the word I guess? There's nothing I can do as of now :(

Pretty sure the new update broke the mines all rockets fire but only one tracks the target while the rest just start floating off in space and the v1 mine doesn't work at all now might want to take a look and test it your self.

@Xenon, you mean *one* missile launcher that can reprint and re-detect the enemy each time, making it longer lasting? I'm sure its possible. Thing is, missiles need time to charge, so theres a chance the mechanism would try to fire missiles before they're charged if the first missile doesn't kill its target. Also with the introduction of cargo space, it makes the design larger and easier to spot from a distance. Though, charge time is irrelevant if you put it on a base and have access to hydrogen.

I have a rover design on the workshop, the "08-91 Dromedary" which can print and launch 18 similar missiles at a reasonably quick pace. Its probably got a system similar to what you're describing.

Do you think it would be possible to create a similar system a small scale weapons platform with a similar detection system but the ability to rebuild the missiles and continue launching for a while?

@Stratus glad this may have been a help. I've had the idea for a salvage ship that doubles as a mine layer, so it can lay traps and salvage what remains lol
