i think the drawbacks should be a chance to burn your face and gain shortsighted trait, maybe add an even worse version of short sighted just for welding with sunglasses

I would love this but having cons for not wearing a proper mask (blindness/burns/etc.) Still playing .41

This is a great mod, still works in 2024 just fine. The Server i was running had a lot of item mods, all of the extra item spawns did something funky and welding masks were NOWHERE to be found.. and i mean it, like no masks in all of louiseville, Riverside, and even some added towns. anyway, i went on the workshop hoping that someone made a mod like this and took a chance on this one. works great EVEN WITH EXISTING SAVE.

you need to lose some vision for X hours after welding that way. IRL people can/will go blind because the blinding light.

@Zericle No. The danger of Welding is from the blinding light. Not stuff flying at your face

Motorcycle Helmet and Riot helmet protect your face from being hit, not the eyes from light

Finally! Someone made it!
Now I would love to see a small chance of getting face burns when not using full cover mask :D
