Hey,
this addon modifies the in-game (VR) behaviour of weapons.
I've barely touched SFM (so correct me if I'm wrong), but I don't think you can enter a "full VR mode" from player's perspective to record sequences as if you played the game normally. I'm not sure if the same applies to NPCs (that you can't simulate their AI), though.
If SFM allows it, then it could be possible.
I added link to the table of default values to the FAQ discussion page.
I didn't even subscribe. But it's still a thumbs down. The game was easy enough without making it even easier. I have to play the game and every mod on Hard Difficulty or I get very bored. This would just make it worse!
Hey,
the default values are different for each weapon and some (like damage) are determined by the current damange output of the weapon.
If you write the desired command into console without any parameters (for instance just "penetration_wpn_smg_cvr_max") it will give you the value it's set to at that time.
I'll add some nice table of default values to the FAQ section in a few days, to make it a bit easier to navigate.
The answer in "Feedback - Suggestions" currently still stands, though it can still be done fairly easily. I'd rather save it perhaps for individual maps, rather than to handle it globally.
You can just subscribe to it and enable it in the main menu. If you're using any other mods in conjunction with it, I recommend to download and enable Scalable Init Support as well.
If you're unsure about the process of enabling mods for Alyx, refer to the FAQ post on this page.
Don't tell Uncle Martin :P
