Uh, Aquifer isn't a synonym, it's its own thing. It quite literally refers to a cave that contains water.
And the game does that sometimes, like Mausoleum and Necropolis, both being very specific and somewhat fancy.
The one word that is probably a bit too synonymy is "Ardent" (Meaning burning or glowing) but Ardent Attic has such a nice ring to it so I had to x)
