I think or feel like and believe that private mercenary troops/soldiers from private military, paramilitary, and security companies/corporations (like Blackwater/Academi, for example) would and could also be very fitting for Black Mesa as well.

@racer_dude Not necessarily, you're thinking about the U.S. Navy SEALs of the 2000s who would wear pilot-styled Nomex suits with Black Tac Gear, so you could vision them to somewhat look like that.
