Moose raid still broken, i edit some XML to make moose generate their ammo.

I'm going to redo this patch all over, but as I've said, we'll have to wait till the firearm roster in base mod is stable first.

Actually let me rephrase that again.
Right now, in the base mod, all of the post-Napoleonic guns are being reworked (either rebalance or complete conceptual change), as such, I want that to be done first before I come back to this patch, thank you.

Hi, i just wanted to say that it's somehow softly incompatibile with generic ammo experience for combat extended. Ammo disapears after adding generic ammo experience

I'm very content with the state of balance for black powder firearms, vanilla or CE.
But for everything after, there will be conceptual changes for some guns to fulfilled the intended CE balance.

The balance is currently, absolutely broken.

Balance seems a bit.... hooo boy. The moose women are bigger than normal pawns yes, a lot bigger, but they shouldn't be able to fire such ridiculously powerful rounds. maybe .50 bmg size in their standard assault weapons, autocannon size for their snipers.
Medieval firearms are mostly okay, damage is maybe a bit high for what metals then could allow, but it's probably okayish if paired back a little.
Problem is after that, the proto relics and relic weapons. The machine guns... They're autocannon laserbeams. Really low recoil, far higher burst counts than standard, low aim times, and utterly massive bullets? yikes.
also .22lr is really weak. it's considered puny and weak in irl pistols even.

I did a partial test of the patch nights earlier on WIP branch, not the full release, but I'm sure it should works for the most part.
I'll be updating this after I'm done with the main mod's clothes fix, thanks for reminder!

Yeah I didn't patch ALL apparels since the CE auto-patching already did their job (the armor values are pretty low but make sense for clothing made of textiles).

Except the plate armor/helmet and some others, which I forgot.

Actually are most of the outfits not supposed have a specific CE patch cause they are technically just cloth clothes in the end so it is purposely low armor patch by the auto-patcher or have you just not worked on the outfits yet? Cause I only see defs WFF_GuardBearskin, WFF_OldGuardBearskin, and WFF_StormtrooperCap in the files itself for outfits

I think the Ironhide and Ironhelm is missing a patch, cause it's only 1.2mm RHA and 1.8 MPA for Ironhide while Ironhelm only has 0.8 mm RHA and 1.2 MPA

Looking at it now, it seems that my moosesian's get absolutely no ranged functionality on the UI. they seem to function normally outside of that one problem, there is some error in my logs regarding the CE patch, I'll provide that to you momentarily after doing basic troubleshooting.

Okay I tested, the reload function for this gun seem to works just fine on my part, could it be a mod conflict perchance? Or just a bug.

Can't seem to swap my ammo type with the ironspin, it just loads what ever is picked up first. Unsure if this is by design or a bug.
