1. VTFEdit to convert .vtf texture files (excluding the ones involving .vmt texture effects like phongwarp_steel, specular, normal, exponent etc.) into .tga format and vice versa with all of general settings for .vtf conversion are disabled.
2. XnConvert to bulk compress those files to a half of their original resolution while preserving their metadata and color profile.

@Seven With the amount of mods I made, it's too lazy for me to change the custom script description. To answer your question, yes, the script is optional despite the description says otherwise.
