Poker cards, cleaning brooms, etc. are certainly annoying issue, but they're not easy to fix. I would like to try it when I really have the time, but it's no guarantee that come true.
If you ever have the time and it's not too much trouble, could you add in poker cards, too? They have the same issue.

Mod tables that don't follow the vanilla table texture's positions can look weird anyway.
As a solution you should try Perspective Building .
when pawns eat on those facing from south to north, foods are placed on the table's massive monoleg
At the Gastronomy's dining originally didn't place meal overhead, but the meal not properly positioned on the table, so added a patch to fix.
Now customers will also place their meals properly on the table and eat. (see last screenshot)
