Would it be possible to make a similar mod, but instead of changing the faction capital, it changes the faction LEADER? Mostly for minor factions, but could work for major ones? It would have a LOT of roleplaying potential, especially if you're trying to make a custom faction...

If you use Lord/Hero swap or the abandoned Legendary Hero Swap + the patch(I don't know the name of the patch)
You can swap your faction leader to a hero, and that changes who your lord is.
Another one that can do the same thing is Execute Legendary Lords/Heroes.

Confirmed with no mods active but this one, it causes desync on co-op campaigns. Generally on the first battle.

@Ascythian Why would they remove an optional feature you don't have to use lol? It's useful for vassals. If I am playing as an oppressive subjugator sometimes I will relocate vassals to suit my needs through trading settlements and this.

Can you just make an option so only the player can change their own capital? I think getting the AI to change their own capital separately [not just when you capture their capital] in certain circumstances would be good?

It works, you just have to give it a couple of turns after pressing the button, I didn't think it did anything but later I noticed the Eight Peaks was my capital now.
