There was an a large trouble half a year ago of fabricated discord screenshots of Pan "asking another to self.h. in exchange of art." By the time those screenshots were confirmed to be fabricated, he already left the internet.

But, recently, his friends forwarded messenges from Panser to his first emote server (that his friends now own): he confirmed that he is ok and is more mentally stable now. He has mentioned about returning back to the internet with a new identity, but he states that "i dont know if i will return by what most think. i am setting certain limitations to myself (again for various reasons)."

TL;DR: Faked screenshots and a subsection of a google doc about someone else that starts with bold text that reads " Do not use anything in this section against pansear " followed by "come to your own judgment, I don't care. just don't harass pansear.".
Please look into situations before contributing misinformation. You are lucky you did this 3 months after they, for all intents and purposes, died.
Note that I do not hate you; the internet sucks and I had a massive dead link chase to actually find the source of information. I mean, hell, I even took it at face value because I didn't like Pansear that much.

4. Pansear invalidating a grooming victim has to do with Azriel and 0303Emily situation, hard to summarize so I'll just stick to what's relevant. First and foremost, Pansear never intended to invalidate their emotions, the screenshots show that they are genuinely caring for Azrielfriend but simply do not believe the screenshots Azriel submitted prove any kind of grooming (Pansear has been groomed for a really long time before, and the situation does not match the definition of grooming). Azriel then made a public statement and Pansear got massive backlash because their fanbased believed Azriel and face value that it was grooming, and Pansear backpedaled and apologized profusely. I make the argument that Azriel was not groomed, but even if you think he was, Pansears actions do NOT warrant the amount of harrasement Pansear (an extremely anxious introvert) endured for 3 months.

2. The accusations were as follows: Invalidating a grooming victim, telling minors to cut themselves, and drawing feral p*rn.
3. The "minors cut themselves" and feral were faked. Obviously faked. The story doesn't line up, everything is sent in the span of 60s, theres only 2 accounts conversing, and discord screenshots are easily faked. Also the person who made the screenshots admitted they were fake. Okay.

I'm not really trying to argue, instead give insight and clarification on what happened to Pansear, for those who are curious.
I will admit that I certainly care way too much, and ranting on it to random people is inappropriate, and I apologize.
I just wish that I had a full breakdown of the situation when I first caught wind, instead of snippets of people saying that they hate that darned zoo-pedophile and going on dead link chases to find the actual source. So I supply one here, not the best place again, filled with emotional bias, but only here do I even have permission to mention it.
This is not to promote my actions or prove innocents, but to provide insight on my thought process.
I will try to stop trying to reignite drama to those uninterested or those hurt, but I can't promise that I will ever move on.

@Blamkay I'm sure you'll live. Pansear's probably better off avoiding the spotlight anyways, it's not like it ever did them any favors. At least they're likely doing art solely for themselves, again. sorry if this seems insensitive due to the drama being discussed in the comments here, but i have a couple suggestions:
- include artificer's scar in the head sprite for her, cause the way arti's scar is displayed in-game gets messed up and misaligned a lot whenever she's upside-down. the scar sprite could stay in as an option for the scar itself rather than just the head, i'm just suggesting that it also be merged with the head for people that are bothered too much by that issue.
- change survivor's head sprite to have larger ears like in the thumbnail. in the mod thumbnail, survivor's ears are distinctly taller than they are in-game (just compare them to gourmand's ears in the thumbnail), about half the height of monk's. currently survivor's design is just the vanilla design with the only changes being two pixels on the face and 5 on the head.
- include recommended settings for rivulet's tail in the description.

Anyway, enough of my Pansear Supporter Propaganda, I haven't spent a single day not thinking about the situation.

I'm pretty sure this is someone who has never interacted with a therapist before. They don't just "fix your problems", most just set up a path towards someone you want to be. You could argue that they should vent to their therapist and never vent to anyone else, but therapy sessions more frequent than 1 every other week are regarded for people going into mental crisis, and they are very limited on time. If Pansear was really not allowed to vent anymore, than the alternative aside from just bottling it up is to wait up to 14 days before having to squeeze every thought into a short, hour long window to someone who is only there because they are paid to be there.
Secondly, if people were really disturbed by them talking about their problems, why didn't they tell them to stop? I mean, I know there's a threshold you have to break before admitting to someone that you don't like something about them or want them to stop something, but why only mention it when they are gone?

I assume your getting this from the tumblr? Don't worry about deleting your stuff, unless of course you want to. From what I knew of Pansear she definitely didn't seem mentally stable, but c'mon. It's the bloody Rain World fandom. The only neurotypical people here are the gay ones.
I feel like venting about your problems is not a reasonable excuse for telling them to kill themselves and congratulating their departure. I find it very hard to find ANY excuse for doing that unless they have been manipulating and hurting people for years.

on one hand, i'm glad that pansear is innocent; they have a lot of talent, and i enjoyed their art in particular. on the other hand, it's not good that people would do something like faking incriminating screenshots. just shows that as this community grows, more and more bad people will join it. i'm scared for the future of the rain world community, but i guess we can only hope that what just happened is the worst of what is to come.

With separating the art from the artist, I mean go ahead. If YOU don't like Pansear, or you don't want to deal with "picking a side" in a confusing argument that people act as if it doesn't exist, then I don't care. You can like or hate the art objectively without even giving Pansear a single thought, and if that makes you happy or lets you move on, then go ahead.
Looking back, I do see "how matter-of-fact"y I sound, and apologize briefly. I was confused and upset. It still feels like I only have the surface of the problem, but the more digging I do, the more innocent Pansear looks...

How does being tired after being harassed by the entire community mean that you are trying to ignore the situation? Also, yes. 5 months before 18 is still a minor. I never said it wasn't. But the fact still stands that (at least in the google docs) no laws were ever broken, and none of the screenshots express Azriel being uncomfortable. There was no intent to manipulate, there was no NSFW content being shared, and there was no deception. This was not grooming. Pansear pointed this out, and yet everyone disagreed with her.

If there is ANY proof of grooming, or Pansear harassing Azriel, or anything that deserves this level of punishment, please, I implore you, change my mind. I don't want to think that everyone is mad at Pansear over nothing, that makes me sad. I don't want to think that Pansear supports groomers, that would also upset me. I just want to know what truly happened and if everyone's actions is appropriate...
