Hi @Kiwi prolong the piston extension setting in the event controller

seems to only get half way through printing my ship them goesback to parked position any help would be appreciated

Doesn't work for me, I place a small grid ship to print but it kept turning in circle without doing anything else

Hi @LZeugirdor unfortunately Space Engineers does not allow to project subgrids through projector. This printer contains couple of subgrids, but you can try to recreate it manually following this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/CpOweJpJGsE?feature=shared
or use one of the subgrid projection mods that will probably allow to print it using a projector.

I tried making this but it says sub gridding is not permitted even through i have supergridding on my server enabled

i hae built this from your video on my single player run and i have tried to build it again on a multiplayer run with a friend and it doesn't work so i have downloaded tis in hopes it'll help but only half of the projection is there the actual rotating part inst on it any help with this?

can you add the blueprint of only the welder already setted?
The viedo is not upgraded so i can't name the block correctly

I noticed that it works pretty well, my only issue is that it hugs the ship so close that sometimes it gets stuck and damages itself or the ship I am trying to build.

I do not recommend printing any large grids on this printer as it isn't designed to do that.

Yeah, it was on, but I might have missed some, it was twitching quite a bit.

Is "Share inertia tensor" active on all rotors and pistons?

Arms keep breaking off at the puff of the wind. not sure how to fix it.

Hi @Xenon Dragon you can adjust the speed of the following groups: *Arm pistons, *Rotors, *Piston extensions

Some of them are set for instance to -0.1 m/s already but you can ctrl + left click on velocity and set it to -0.0500 m/s.

This should slow down the printing process and allow for more precise printing

Probably a dumb question: Is there a way to slow the welding process down? Using this on Survival and it seems to be going to fast for some sections.

More or less 40 blocks, but there's possibility to extend it by adding more pistons to "Arm Pistons" and "Piston extensions" groups

Great vanilla solution, but if I understand correctly this printer can only print a maximum of 20 small grid blocks in length?

@Monstertruck: Minimum PCU welders with maximum coverage. Lower performance impact. Good for server with welder limits and PCU limits. An equivalent welder wall would require 30-40 welders.

Why are there so many spinning parts?

truly a classic, love that you used the old starting station to show it off

now we just need a large grid ship one with multiple projectors maybe for bigger designs

Do the pistons with welders attached to them automatically adjust how far they extend towards the grid being built? Or is it a fixed distance?
