If you increase your action speed to fast mode and use the crowbar in this mode to unlock the door, the sound of burning wood will repeat infinitely. Note, I spent countless hours figuring this out.

no but it saves you disassembling doors or shatter windows. it's very helpful to get into locked cars, especially if you intend to hotwire them

Figured out my problem. I was using this mod for a server of mine and whenever you set up a server there are two sections dedicated to mods. First one is "mods" where you should add the mods you want to use on your server. Second one is "workshop mods" where you have to actually SELECT them in order for them to work. I forgot to activate the mods in the first section so that's why it wasn't working.
