What flooring is that in your last picture? Or all of it, looks quite impressive. What mods did you use there?

Maybe this has been asked already but, why are all the carpets not considered floors? It´s like a clickable structure and the floor under the carpet still exists so to speak.

就是原版的黄金，更亮一点可能是打光吧。水晶头骨和火盆柱是Medieval Overhaul的。

为什么你预览展示的右上角宏伟大椅和左上角厕所浴缸看起来要比金的更黄一点，是远古木材吗（我找半天找不到这个东西）？还有大厅的水晶头骨、支撑柱旁边的火盆柱是什么mod的东西

Like in old times we use Vee's decorating which has the exact same stairs like Simple Visual Stairs, but in Vee's decorating the altitude layer is smallwire which means it will show in front of floors, while Simple Visual Stairs will clash with anything that is using the altitude layer floors on the same tile.

That's probably because we both use the same altitude layer Floor so things can't be put together. It's not a bug but a coincidence. The way to fix this is to manually modify the altitude layer comp if you wish, to bring mines behind of theirs forwards, but I would say messing with altitude layer is pretty nasty and can cause a lot problem you don't expect.

The stairs from Simple Visual Stairs and Prop stairs from VFE- Props and Decor both make the royal carpet deconstruct. The ones from SimpleStairs (Fork) overlap properly. Is there any way to make the former two respect Royal Carpets like SimpleStairs on your mod's end or is that an issue on their end? Either way thanks for your work.

For anyone who read this, Dub's Paint Shop was no longer used by many players since 1.4. Yes it was a popular mod for builders during the old times, but in 1.4 we got vanilla painting tools that handle the problem in most cases. Though still get maintained, the mod has been reported for unable to detect and paint objects that should be paintable, including this mod. So yeah you can't use Dub's Paint Shop to paint this mod's carpets.

These are very aesthetically pleasing, far more than the vanilla fine carpets imo!

I feel I have to say sorry to people who were stumped by the painting issues because I forgot to mention that you need to use the PaintBuilding tool instead of the PaintFloor tool to paint the carpet, which was mentioned in the Chinese version of the description but not in the English one. I totally forgot about this until I updated the description today.

I do not know if it was something added in a patch to vanilla Rimworld, or incompatibility with something added by a mod.
However, if you can't paint the carpets, it's because they are missing

Can't comment on Geometric Floors, so I'm doing it here ^^ I just can't play without it, it's just aesthetic, still I just can't, it's just awesome floors combination and patterns. Thanks a lot for it !

The previews are all red, but it doesn't mean the mod only has red gilded carpet

I am a FUCKING idiot, please kill me, I kept thinking the paint brush from the floor tab is the same as "vanilla paint building tool", and then i noticed order tab had an actual paint building tool, it instantly worked the moment I used that. I want to hide in a hole now, or not exist at all :' )

Well carpets from this mod are considered as building, so you should use the paint building one

Yeah unfortunately hard to look for which mod may have caused it, it's not so much the paint tool doesnt work at all, but it just it ended up painting the floor tile beneath the carpet instead for w/e reasons.

Then your last resort is to use console for painting, otherwise the only reasonable explanation is that your modlist affects the painting system

Same, tried to paint with dub's paint and didn't work. Oddly enough, the vanilla paint tool did not work for me either and I have no idea which mod would cause it, cause as far as I know I dont have any mod other than optimization mods like rocketman and performance fish could be touching the vanilla paint tool.

Use the paint furniture one, if it doesn't work, then maybe some mods have affected its functionality

Hi, how do you paint the carpets? I'm trying to use the paint tool but none of the modes are working on the carpet - for example, the terrain mode only works on the floor, not the carpet.
