when using a weapon that has a config with attachments included, if you switch to another weapon like a launcher or put it on your back, and switch back, it appears with those attachments instead of using the base weapon and attaching only those attachments if it even has any.

I encounter a slight problem ; when my AI teammate is equipped with two primary, he starts acting all weird. Now I know they can't swap between the two weapons and that is fine, I equip them with two primary so I can take control of the AI in different situations (eg. one primary as a rifle and second as a CQB asset):

But when they are equipped with two primary they struggle to rally up and keep formation, they start wandering around and their path finding is all broken. Does anybody had the same issue ?
I reckon the mod was not intended for this purpose but if there is a way to fix, I'd be really glad to know.

Other than that, this is a bit sad you cannot save compositions in Eden with two primary equipped, I found a way by storing the second rifle in a backpack or ACE gunbag and equip it upon scenario start.
Overall really useful and cool mod, thanks for the job done here !

Would have there been a way to re-write how Arma 3 saves weapons within the loadouts? Would've been neat if that was something included within this mod.

Hey, just to let you know I found a bug with this mod. When swtiching weapon with this mod and using ravage zombies the zombies stop running up to the player and stop about 5m away.

can u allow for swapped weapons to have their ranging the same as last changed?
If I have 2 weapons and range one for 200, put it on my back, then swap it back, it will be ranged to the weapon default and not to the ranging I have adjusted before swapping

Hey,

Can you make it so that when you have squads selected 4 does not swap weapons?

Arma has it setup for 1-3, so if you have units selected pressing 1-3 will not swap your weapons, just a bit annoying when trying to tell AI to target something and my guy keeps switching.

Other than that another fantastic mod thanks!

Hey webknight! Great mod, but it seems to have an issue with TFAR when using the secondary channel ("T" key). It seems to drop the weapon to the ground.

Hi. Perfect mod. Also I want to ask you. Maybe you can make some mod that will move the command for bots to open equipment to the beginning. When you want to order a bot to open a corpse's inventory, this command is at the very end (after pressing 6). This is very inconvenient when there are a lot of weapons and corpses lying around, and you need a weapon from a specific corpse.

OK latest thing. We can see the second primary weapon when we respawn, just can't retrieve it off our previous body?

Awesome Mod, I tried the other types of 2 weapon mods, but this one is the most fluent. But it becomes a burden when i choose my loadout and first have to add the other 2nd weapon again. Would it be possible to add a another weapon slot for the second weapon?

can you use the focuson command where possible instead of player since zeus may want to use this switch with remote controlled units and player returns the zeus curator rather than the remote controlled unit like focuson does?

Very good mod, some issues though:

1: In the Apex Protocol campaign, when you pick up a weapon and swap to your original primary, you might get the primary from your previous life. An example is that I picked up an AK and when I swapped back to my SPAR 17, it had turned into a SPAR 16 GL from my previous life.

2: Occasionally when you swap weapons while having the "Advanced Weapon Mounting" mod on, your character will pull off all the attachments off the weapon you swap to.

Otherwise a well made mod without much jank while still having good animations

What you can do:
1. Pick first weapon in Arsenal. Also pick backpack. A big one.
2. Close Arsenal.
3. Put this new weapon in backpack.
4. Re-open Arsenal.
5. Choose another weapon.
6. Repeat as needed.

At the moment this mod still seems to often eat the magazine in your gun when swapping weapons. Any progress on fixing that, or are we kind of stuck with it for the time being?

Still awesome carrying two guns regardless.

The only thing I may ask you is if it's possible to correct a position of weapon on the back - when second primary weapon is in hand, the first primary weapon on the back is more centred, so it looks like it's clipping through the backpack. https://imgur.com/a/mCgTqEL

Oh definitely not. I've got like a decent chunk modpack for an antistasi with some buds. There's probably something in there that lets me do it then.

@Marty there is a code that prevents player from doing so, maybe some kind of a mod confilcts it, or are you doing it with only CBA and Two Primary weapons?

Hey, pretty neat mod. Works great.

Not sure if this issue has been reported yet, but I'll throw it out there.

If you put a weapon on back, then go into your inventory, into the "crate" option to see the weapon, you can actually drag it to "ground", and drop it. When you then switch back, you get your weapon out of nowhere, and you've got a copy! One on the ground, and one from your back.

Can't imagine it being too big of an issue in normal arma or whatnot, but when playing stuff like antistasi it's kind of an easy way to dupe things if not careful.

Besides that, seems to work fine.

This was a popular serverside mod back in ArmA 2, I'm surprised it took this long for A3 to get an equivalent.
Then again, the inventory system was completely overhauled, so I'm sure the scripting is very different.

@Bomber147 I got it to work. saving doesn't happen, but that is hard with this type of stuff. Gotta love buggy Arma.
