It only affects the learning need rate, though I updated lifespan genes a day or two ago so they should have fewer issues gaining growth tiers. If you're still having issues you may need to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the EBSG mod to make sure you have the most up to date version.

Does this just increase the rate at which they fill the Learning need, or is it supposed to increase the rate at which they accumulate growth points? I wanted to use this to counteract the fact that the "Fast Aging" gene makes it impossible to get past growth tier 5 or 6, but it does not seem to be working on the growth points.

I have released a variation of this that changes hediffs. At the moment, it's just the learning assistant and neural supercharge, but it may expand to include modded implants if requested.

you think you could make a simple patch that makes learning assistants do the same? i wanna have some bionically learning colonists

While I was doing some testing today for a completely unrelated mod, I realized that I accidentally left an incompatibility with More Biotech Style Genes , which should now be fixed.
