and if thruster is it all directional
The Doctor 10. okt. 2024 kl. 19:44
what exactly is it is it a thruster or jumpdrive?
PvtPrometheus 2. okt. 2024 kl. 19:42
@JadedQrow works just fine for me, my main small ship fighter uses these for its only thrust
JadedQrow 21. maj 2024 kl. 0:37
Ohhh the memories, sad it doesnt work anymore, used this for literal years
RipMe/Vipr 19. aug. 2023 kl. 22:29
DAMN this is outdated! XD
Kris Dreemurr 14. juli 2023 kl. 16:47
Can you Update this please can`t find any other mod that is better
FartyParty 8. juni 2022 kl. 17:41
Holy outdated, batman!
Samson1 7. sep. 2020 kl. 1:02
When ever I move near a nacelle the game crashes. Is there any chance of an update?
Tiberious1 15. juli 2020 kl. 8:51
Can some explain how to make fuel for the warp core dilithuim
Xann 13. apr. 2020 kl. 15:50
is the mod structured so it cant break since there hasn't been an update to it in 5 years?
Knasen 24. jan. 2020 kl. 14:19
@Swat842 - Simply place the block with the red glowing part of the nacelle in the direction you want it to power the ship. But since you need a lot of power for them I recommend to grab a x25 reactor mod
Swat842® 18. jan. 2020 kl. 18:42
Hi Dan2D3D I have now clue how to get this to work... Is there any way you could help me?
Cpt_Core 29. juni 2019 kl. 15:38
Why is it pink...
Deth Mettle 2. juni 2019 kl. 21:10
Does this have thruster damage?
matthewvogt 18. apr. 2019 kl. 13:14
this is a must have
James Fire 11. jan. 2019 kl. 6:04
Oh, it seems that gravity drives can get more space efficient. But they need to be very large.
James Fire 7. jan. 2019 kl. 23:28
@leviewit This thruster is the most space efficient one I have ever found. It's also the most powerful.

@bsump14 yes

bsimp14 18. dec. 2018 kl. 20:45
dose this work in atmosphere?
Lev 15. aug. 2018 kl. 5:46
This is fast, but too slow for my tastes. Anyone have any thruster mods more powerful?
batsibf 1. juli 2018 kl. 11:33
@ Sir Spoony
I have been using this mod for awhile and it works great
Dan2D3D  [udvikler] 20. maj 2018 kl. 17:01
@Sir Spoony

I use this Mod and it works Very well :approve:
Sir Spoony 17. apr. 2018 kl. 0:47
Abandoned...rate down and move on! :steamfacepalm:
isaac8244 4. jan. 2018 kl. 10:29
is there a mod that has the warp speed effect?
Greyson XMG 3. dec. 2017 kl. 18:32
Much potential. Willing modder required.
The Sage of Games 3. dec. 2017 kl. 18:26
that'd be interesting
TheDoomLordd 3. dec. 2017 kl. 18:04
Would love to see this changed and make it so you have to have the Warp Reactor + Nacells for things to work
Crowbot 30. okt. 2017 kl. 14:36
Ok, I think you should split this up into seperate blocks. With the blue block being thrust and the red as mostly stopping power.
ShinyPhoenix998 25. juli 2017 kl. 7:13
When will you update it?
Joshua Grigartis 5. juni 2017 kl. 12:46
To all asking, this still works fine. But I won't use it. It's not modular and it's WAY to OP.
matthewvogt 24. apr. 2017 kl. 23:04
Still works. Have to get weight just right or put it in the right spots or it turns you its so fast
Greyson XMG 26. mar. 2017 kl. 16:50
I know of one person who was ( a while ago ) trying to do exactly that.

I know he didn't finish, but he might pick up on it again.
Crowbot 26. mar. 2017 kl. 16:43
This needs companion blocks to take care of different trust directions.

It would also be nice if this were more modular.
The Sage of Games 24. jan. 2017 kl. 12:35
@Vokun Vulon, As far as I know these still work.
Vokun Vulon 23. jan. 2017 kl. 9:53
Hold up, reading the old comments here, is this now broken for 2017? If so I would really like an update, been on a bit of a star trek bender lately and I'm making my own ship based around the NX Franklin ship from beyond... without these I feel it would be left incomplete...
The Sage of Games 7. okt. 2016 kl. 4:27
I havent deployed the nacelles yet as I am currently gathering resources for some ships i got coming down the assembly line, but a couple ideas. Would it be possible to reskin this to look like the nacelles from a few different ship classes(Galaxy, Intrepid, Excelsior, etc)? And also give the thrusters the ability to be self dampening. that way for those making an authentic star trek design, one would not need to put thrusters galor on the front to counter the massive power of those engines? If not on the first one, as long as there is no thruster damage rom these, then hiding them in the design of a nacelle housing built block by block is a valid alternative. That way, if they are not self dampening you could nave nacelles for front and backward flight and it wont look wierd at all.
The Sage of Games 6. okt. 2016 kl. 21:21
Does this engine reverse its own thrust? or do you have to place either backwards nacelles/Tier 4 thrusters from a tiered thruster pack?
Dan2D3D  [udvikler] 28. aug. 2016 kl. 10:47
Hi =)HHG(=Telamont, I'm not sure what is going on but could you have a look at your Mod please.
There is no textures in the Dev 1.150 but a lot of my other Mods are OK:riddle:

No rush > Your Warp works fine (just no texture) and I use it in all my Modded ships :bigups:
FatMax1492 13. aug. 2016 kl. 1:02
functioning in an atmosphere??
ig88b1 24. maj 2016 kl. 5:23
This is a fantastic mod, especially for huge ships that are impossible to get moving!:steamhappy:
Pauho Hosst 6. maj 2016 kl. 15:11
Any way to create a modular version of this so they can be built in any size?
Greyson XMG 16. apr. 2016 kl. 17:15
Fortunately, The epic modders arn't shy about giving advice.

Shao, Elkester, Sektan, Darth Biomech, the list of masters is long and ever growing. I am sure that one or two ( or all ) would be happy to help with coding issues.
Telamont  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2016 kl. 12:50
well I'm good with the art side of things but I'm no coder I can figure out the basics but what your asking for is well beyond me
Turret problems 16. apr. 2016 kl. 10:30
i do not know if your extremly clever or just an average modder (basialy a genus) then it may be, but obviously im not the creator of this mod so if you realy want to know, ask the creator.
Greyson XMG 15. apr. 2016 kl. 20:51
Turret. Is what I described codeable?
Turret problems 15. apr. 2016 kl. 13:43
That sounds amazing, i could definatly model this to look like the theme of the already existing warpdrive thruster.
Greyson XMG 14. apr. 2016 kl. 20:49
:S We already have a jump drive. There is an advanced version (mod) called hyperdrive. We don't really need another.

Perhaps the easiest way to do this would be to keep the 'hyperthruster' idea, but:
1. Make it so that it overrides the upper limit of speed. (perhaps X20)
2. Make it so it can only activate when already traveling at 90% or better of current top speed.
3. Turning it off restores the normal speed limit and drops the ship to that speed.

This would make operation of a warp drive a little more complex than an on/off switch.
AND help limit the advantage a hyperthruster would give in a battle.

The biggest disadvantage of them would be there sheer size. Too big to enclose in a hull, so they would, most likely, need to be mounted on the outside. Meaning, they would likely be the first thing hit in a fight. Not a good propultion choice for a dedicated warship, but workable for a multi-role cruiser.

Is this codeable?
Turret problems 9. apr. 2016 kl. 10:20
@greyson xmg and @ascendedhologram i think there should be two (ps i would totaly do the models) one's a hyper thruster the other is an actualy jump drive. and @AscendedHologram the reason we want flush parts is because using the engine models as are isnt realy that nice looking, we were thinking more flushed out and larger parts, maybe multifunctionality parts like batterie thruster (to give reason for large size other than realism
Greyson XMG 9. apr. 2016 kl. 1:34
AND we know that the game isn't really designed to handle speeds unlimited. Not in the normal sense anyway.

To me, making a 'warp drive' a hyperthruster only makes sense, if there is no other options. With the code opening up, turning a warp drive into something more becomes possible.

AND if warp drive is going to compete with jump drive, then it will need to be something more.
AscendedHologram 9. apr. 2016 kl. 0:58
And really, travelling at THESE sorts of speeds really makes traveling between the default planets w/o using a jump drive actually feasible, and I fucking love it. I also love how these drives are balanced. They are FAR too powerful to be used to maneuver with any sort of accuracy over small distances, and they start to lose their thrust once inside a gravity well. (So no using them on planets, and only lightly around moons).
AscendedHologram 9. apr. 2016 kl. 0:56
@Greyson XMG Honestly, man, I think these Warp Drives are EXCELLENT as they are! I mean, really, if you use them right, they're perfect...you just mount as many as you need going BOTH forwards AND backwards, and once you activate them (after turning off the dampners, of course), you might as well be moving at "Warp" type speeds! Seriously, with an unliimited speed mod, you can easily get almost any ship up to 20k-30k+ m/s with this in in not that much time! (Just be sure that everybody onboard the ship is either sitting in a chair or is in cryosleep, because at THOSE speeds, you wind up spawning outside your ship every few seconds!)
