Pretty good for your first map. You should use the properly sized textures inside the chambers. There's no fizzler in the bottomless pit so if the cube falls down it's stuck there for good. You should put nodraws over holes in the floor and wall.

You can use the full compile all the time for small maps like this one. For larger maps it takes too long (some time more than one hour), and make quick compile and a full compile (and before publishing) to check the lighting.

The design is correct and neat (especially for a first Hammer design). Before publishing, don't forget to make a full compile. :steamthumbsup:
