Baltic Paganism where much like Slavic or North Paganism, usually only main gods where different.
Willy Wonka Special 13. mar. 2016 kl. 7:38
Oh god the aids in these comments, I'm lithuanian myself - this General Rommel needs to go kill himself and Kebab Remover is poorly informed as Lithuanians used to believe in a 'pantheon' like religion (my own opinion) which is called Paganism, making Lithuanians Pagans
Kastuvas 3. dec. 2015 kl. 11:14
its quite a good mod, (im lithuanian), the only problem i see with it is that its relligion based, Lithuanians were last nation to become religious in europe, so making it somewhat faith based is quite odd

This version of Lithuania is led by Mindaugas and the symbol reflects the coat of arms at that time. There is another mod with Vytautas which uses the Vytis from his period. http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=193242362

Shrimpyy_tv 17. aug. 2014 kl. 8:58

Hiram  [ophavsmand] 15. aug. 2014 kl. 17:40
Whoops, looks like I forgot to remove a few things from the old version. Thanks for letting me know, I'll have a fix up ASAP.
Shrimpyy_tv 15. aug. 2014 kl. 9:48
I met a militeristic city state in my game that said it would gift me "txt_key_unit_vytis", which in the civpedia has blank info, checking my mod folder it appears to be caused by your mod. Just thought I would let you know.
Mostima 14. aug. 2014 kl. 4:55
Well the Celts can get +2 from any city with 3+ forest tiles, while this is just from the palace. So the Celts UA can potentially beat this UA if they have laods of forest, and can lose it if they only have a bit. So it adds flexibility.
Hiram  [ophavsmand] 14. aug. 2014 kl. 3:23
You could make that argument for any UA which has an early faith yield. Frankly, with the amount of civs (mod or official) that we have it's hard to avoid overlapping with something given that we've only got a limited set of game mechanics to work with. Besides, the main part of the UA is religious pressure. As far as I'm aware there isn't another civ which a UA relating to religious pressure. The palace faith yield is merely there to facilitate use of the main component of the UA.
DrakenX999 13. aug. 2014 kl. 17:46
t's not that the UA is underpowered or overpowered; it's about the same strength as the Celts UA. But, that's part of the problem, the UA, although mechanically different, is functoinally the same as the Celts. The whole point of both is to be the first to get a pantheon, any faith generated later is a small bonus wiht minimual impact.

Frankly, I don't see this mod as having a unique UA. It's essentially the Celts UA on top of Lithuanias UU and UB.
Mostima 12. aug. 2014 kl. 23:17
If you exclude random factors then yes, they likely will be able to found the first pantheon. But if Lith takes +15% Wonder creation they're still only making a static +2 faith, amybe a little extra if they have a shrine or something. But if another Civ takes faith from tiles, faith from quarries, or faith from plantations then they likely could start being on a competitive scale. And removing the start bias of another Civ is more a less a way of just removing their unique ability. Also I've seen plenty of times when another Civ has got a Faith ruin in the first 5 turns, or met with a religious city state. And yes, my arguments are based on Random Factors because Civ V is a random game. Nothing is going to play out exactly the same way every game. Some games you might be able to get a very good start location and build all your wonders, other times it'll be a bit lack luster and another civ will have a better start.
Hiram  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. 2014 kl. 19:07
The +2 faith was added to the palace because I needed to give them a bit more of a chance to found a religion as an AI player in order for the AI to actually use the unique ability. This kind of measure is not uncommon, see LS's Papal States for example (which guarantees a religion even if the maximum number of religions have already been founded). You sound like someone you just gets butthurt whenever a game doesn't pan out the way you want it to. Based on my testing the civ is frankly still a bit underpowered and doesn't have this apparent massive advantage over other civs that you seem to think it does.
Captain Seasick 12. aug. 2014 kl. 12:28
"No one finds a faith ruin". What, you think they're gonna find THAT within 5 turns? Every single one of your arguments are based on random factors. Disable start bias makes the Celts' forest thing pretty much useless. Stonehenge can be claimed by any civ in the game, and given that the Lith-whatevers gets first pick on pantheons, they'll have a massive headstart since they can get that +15% production for ancient/classic wonders.
Mostima 12. aug. 2014 kl. 7:42
Also, there's plenty of modifiers that could prevent the player getting the first religion. If another Civ takes a beleif that boosts Faith from desrt tile, builds Stonehenge, takes Piety ideas, finds Faith ruins, finds (and befriends) a Faith city state could all speed uo their Faith gain. A static +2 Faith from the begining may give a decent boost to getting the first pantheon assuming the Celts aren't in the same game, and no one finds a Faith ruin before you have enough Faith then getting a Great Prophet takes so long that another nation may easily overtake the player.
Mostima 12. aug. 2014 kl. 7:37
http://i.imgur.com/EnLaQit.jpg - As seen here. The Celts are producing +2 Faith, and are not working any of the tiles.
Mostima 12. aug. 2014 kl. 7:32
No it doesn't. Forest just has to be territory sphere. And Celts ahve a forest start bias.
Captain Seasick 12. aug. 2014 kl. 7:28
No. Because that forest has to be WORKED to produce faith (afaik), and it only gives +1. AND it's a bonus that's dependent on terrain, i.e. luck it or suck it. This piece-of-♥♥♥♥ "mod" tho'? You'll automatically get the first pantheon AND religion, guaranteed. OP. AS. ♥♥♥♥.
Mostima 12. aug. 2014 kl. 7:07
"DAFUQ!!! +2 faith from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PALACE? HELLO OVERPOWERED AS ♥♥♥♥." - As compared to the Celts that get +1 if any city has 1 forest, and +2 from any city with 3 forest tiles? Seems pretty balanced to me.
Captain Seasick 12. aug. 2014 kl. 3:25
DAFUQ!!! +2 faith from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PALACE? HELLO OVERPOWERED AS ♥♥♥♥.
Nono 12. aug. 2014 kl. 3:01

Garynt99 11. aug. 2014 kl. 1:13
Hey modders and their fans! Can I ask you guys something that is not related to the mod? My Civ V game is not working for some reason. Everytime I start the game Im confronted with a installation screen and when the screen completes, it says error (53). I went to Steam and they said Im not allowed to access the site. Anyone else having the same problem or had this problem before?
[BOT]Zbignev 10. aug. 2014 kl. 12:28
About the unit - I'd say calling it Etmonas would be more accurate. It's pretty much a general rank, but at the times of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Which comes to my another suggestion, to rename The Kingdom of Lithuania into Grand Duchy of Lithuania, as we never got the title of Kingdom (Like it was said, Our to be crowned king Mindaugas was assassanited before becoming an official king.

Other than that, it's quite an awesome mod, which was a sole reason for me to buy 'Brave New World' :). Also, The names of the Cities was a really nice touch. Good job! :)
Dan_the_Caterpillar 10. aug. 2014 kl. 8:55
Did anyone notice that on the paper behind Mindaugas is written "Nobody cares about Lithuania"? :D
Hiram  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. 2014 kl. 6:35
I was going off a rough translation of militia in Lithuanian. I'm all ears for a better name for it.
[BOT]Zbignev 10. aug. 2014 kl. 5:10
Milicininkai... Really now?
Qiviuq 9. aug. 2014 kl. 5:36

Hiram  [ophavsmand] 8. aug. 2014 kl. 18:19

Qiviuq 8. aug. 2014 kl. 8:30
