if i change from Stacking 1K to 5K will the existing 1K stacks poof from existence?

If you add this mod AFTER already playing AND switching from a previous stack, you'll need to pick up and re-place down EVERYTHING that holds a storage (i.e. Industrial Furnace, Grill, Boxes, etc.). Old stacks won't change or combine, so use them up first. Gotta start with new stacks.

Charcoal and metal ingots don't stack. But other than that so far so good!

Will my old resources stay or will i have to add them back if i use this mod as a replacement?

Yes, it is a copy, the file size is different because I removed the placeables (HG Stryder Box) to rework it.

Replace works without any problems, only Stryderbox disappears.

Please tell me. Is this the copy of HG Stacking Mod 5000-90 ? Why is the file size different then?

I have made used of the 1000-50 MOD from them and can confirm it is working fine with no resource losses
