Pretty much, it's a weird hybrid of the 17/26. With the slide length and high capacity it does feel like it takes more from the 17 than the 26, especially the FPS model without the stubby magazine

I can tell you that this should not be a Glock 26, at least not exactly.
A Glock 26 has a compact slide as well as a compact frame (when I say frame I mean the handle that you hold), while the pistol in game has a standard-length slide and a slightly short frame, you can consider it as a mash-up of several branches of Glock, at least you can't conclude it as a standard "Glock 26".
Since you can't conclude it as a specific build of the Glock series, I don't think it's inappropriate to write "G17" on the slide, since it's the very first and the most classic one.

just googled it, glock 26 is tiny compared to 17 which has a much bigger handle while this one is somewhere in the middle, but the wiki says 26 and it looks bigger
