the arrows are fine, but it's almost impossible to see gunpowder based weapons and cannons. The projectiles are already short enough and with this mod they feel invisible when zoomed out.
I think the most important thing is probably to release mod in a way so it gets on front page to stand out for at least for a few days in the thousands of mods on the workshop and that initial popularity can also bring more people later as they browse the mods. To be honest, it's really hard to find mod that isn't very popular unless they were specifically looking for a trail mod and the low user numbers can make it look as inferior option to other mods, also many things are subjective, some might prefer other mods.
I think i made a mistake of not making a video also.
Well not a big deal, it's really hard to go back to vanilla trails once I played with this mod. Partly it's reason a made mod for Rebirth also (technically it's for WH2, but in WH2 it only works as "movie" pack so it can't be uploaded to workshop anyway). I wanted to play their mod, but vanilla trails were bothering me so much I couldn't enjoy it. :D
I think the reason the mod flew under the radar so hard is that a lot of people, me included, thought it was already included in your gunpowder mod!
Adding the fact that the gunpowder mod only modifies the bullet trails and that you recommend using both mods together would do wonders for this mod's visibility
So i have to run it on mid to low with other mods, it's a shame. Hope one day someone helps you solve this issue
