That is an incompatibility with some other mods that touch Dwarf Lords. With this most recent patch, I'm going to see if there is a way to fix that particular issue up!

The description is mostly accurate, though going through I'm going to give it a once over just to make sure when I update for the newest patch! It currently only moves the Bolt Thrower recruitment as CA had buffed it themselves. It does not touch newly added Dwarf traits nor the Deeps system, though I will look at both to see if I want to tweak them.

Overall, as a long term goal (though I have a few half-finished projects that will happen first) I want to revisit this mod and potentially add to it / split it into distinct parts given its grab bag nature. But that won't happen soon and once I get closer I will be looking for feedback on a few ideas (for example, pulling out the ranger changes and making a full Ranger Expansion mod is one idea)

Sweet, an update!
Quick question: How much of the original mod description is still accurate now that we've had Thrones of Decay? Did you retain the building changes? What about Bolt Throwers and other unit balance? Did you also make changes to the newly added character traits for Dwarfs? Do any of your changes affect the new Deeps system? Would love to use this mod again.

Thanks for what you do, Greenphoenix23. Appreciate the work. The mod's been working for me on TOW and a bunch of other mods, and seems to be ok not being first in the list (currently 10th for me). Very good compatibility!

Any plans to have the shieldbearer mount released as a separate mod? Also, any plans for great weapons for dwarf lords?

That is most likely due to needing an SFO submod.
I plan on addressing those issues when I next release an update to my Dwarf Collection (which will be when my current project is completed)

SFO users: Mod is somehow causing a bunch of units to have their stats overwritten (Ironbreakers, RoRs, etc) so vastly reduced health and other nasty things. Can't figure out what is causing this after checking tables and changing load orders. Keep on Dwarfing :redbeard:

For some reason Hammerers and Ironbreakers are in Tier 5. According to mod description, they should be it Tier 4. Is mistake in mod or description?

Hello. I'm playing with compilation mod, and for whatever reason pistol Lord variants hold their axes backwards, at least in Details menu I have yet to send one into battle.

Hey greenphoenix, my game is crashing only with your mod enabled, i've tried anything i could think of, unsubscribed and resubscribed several times, deleted the mod folder under the steam workshop folder, etc. Every time, the game CTD after launching. Tried without your mod, and the game starts fine.

Don't mind any of my messages before. Seems like for an unknown reason, the 8th erase/activate made the mod work. Maybe it was files position...

(And this mod work perfectly with SFO, just 1 little problem with great Axe stay with 430 weapon power while every others have an up to 500, but it doesn't cause any problem for playing with it)

That is a known incompatibility. I have it in the description. Sadly it is a fix that needs to happen on their end rather than something I can fix in my mod.

At this point it is likely to stay incompatible.

Mod compatibility is always a potential problem with any mod. Generally mods that touch the same thing can cause any number of issues, including crashes. Given that, it is impossible for me to guess which other mods might be causing your problem without a lot more information.

The most likely suspects from what you have said would be something script-based, but it could easily be something else.

In general, it is good to try to narrow down which mod is causing the incompatibility on your end (you can trial and error it) and let me know so I can look into something specific.

I know this might sound annoying but it is not compatible with some mods, I am not sure which ones. My game can be launched nicely but it ctd when I launch a campaign, which is odd, this never happened to me before this update. Do you know what kind of mod could be conflicting with this one to cause a ctd like this? And if it is not too much to ask, could you check the mod to see any potential stuff that might cause ctds with some others mods please? Thank you

I'd also like to politely request a standalone for the mounts.

(Though I wouldn't mind if the Lord Variants was included, or another standalone, as it's also really good. the crossbow Thane especially is handy if you're doing a sneaky ranger army and having a ranged hero/lord "elevated" on a mobile platform makes perfect sense for shooting over his troops.)

I love that Miners Below was effectively implemented officially with the DLC.
Does this mod also retain the old building changes or did you take that out? Was trying to compare but haven't had the chance yet. The description still says so, but buildings have changed with the DLC.
Also have a few suggestions, namely landmark-related.

A couple of suggestions: maybe it would be better to move the hammerers to level 4 and also add +10% damage to the technology effect for gyroplanes and gyrobombers?.. Since all units have damage bonuses in technology except gyroplanes and gyrobombers
