That aside, I am very glad to see these new homeworld designs built in SE
It would make sense though. After all, the Hiigarans before their exile were greedy and corrupt. I'd imagine that post-exile, with the Eye of Aarran activated, they'd be trying to show that they'd changed, to try and avoid making new enemies as they fully reestablish themselves as a galactic power.
The logical first step would involve modernizing ship designs used to retake Hiigara, as a statement of "we are not our ancestors"
