It's funny you say that Media Buff. Since when they first did the motion capture for Ellis all of his pistol animations where held sideways, Even the dual pistols. I'll be posting that mod later.

another great one, man! i dont know if your other pack had walking/running anims but if it didnt i am sure to use these, i find the full run animation and idle a little goofy so i will pair it alongside your other pack but im sure beta fans will be slobbering all over it.

The run is actually a second revision, he held it sideways originally but even that had been changed by the time comic-con rolled around.

I can see why this wasn't used, given that Ellis is a southerner and mechanic by trade and while he did have interest in guns I think he'd have learned a much more relaxed and proper posture to hold the gun as this kind of pose is a bit gangster and probably wouldn't be the handling style he'd have seen around his hometown and from various people from the same state.

While his handling of the gun in the first three can also be attributed to a more cowboy kind of grip, it probably wouldn't have been a common grip he saw.

It's kinda funny how he points the gun.
