@A sentient fir tree yeah this only changes the face! I figured it would be compatible with Arcanian Tails but haven't had a chance to test it out myself yet.

The detailed text doesn't usually appear for some reason. There's a patch for that, but yes, they should have custom race stats anyway.

@GoingBatty I don't have that issue on my end using this mod + Arcana + FU, I would guess there is an unrelated compatibility thing going on. This mod only contains png (image) files, no code whatsoever. The first thing I would recommend is to check FU's incompatibility list https://frackinuniverse.miraheze.org/wiki/Incompatible and make sure you don't have any of the items listed there as well as this list https://frackinuniverse.miraheze.org/wiki/Included . Also try unsubscribing from Arcana and my mod, then resubscribing to both. Sometimes steam mods don't download and / or update properly. In Arcana's species folder, there are raceeffect documents (what designate their FU stats) so if you have Arcana and FU, those stats should be active. This mod doesn't touch the raceeffect files at all. My guess is that in your game, the Arcana races DO have stats, but a different mod you have is messing with the character creation menu.

this is strange when I use your mod the Arcanian races have no stats on character creation.

@GoingBatty it already works with FU, I use both myself. This doesn't add the Arcanian species, only modifies the sprites implemented by Arcana. Arcana is compatible with FU so this is, as well.

Do you plan on having this mod work with Fracken Universe?

Small update: added the "includes" line to the metadata file that @Sako mentioned since the steam mod uploader tool is deciding to work for me today! Hopefully nobody has issues now getting this to load after Arcana.

@Sako I have it on my to-do list for sure! I attempted to add that line after I first uploaded the mod (annoyingly you cannot put it in initially) but had some issues with the steam tool allowing me to update the mod with an altered metadata. Not sure why because it has worked with personal / private mods I've made. Going to try again within the next few days.

You need to add [code]"includes" : ["Arcana"][/code] to your _metadata file, otherwise it's not guaranteed to load after Arcana and won't overwrite the sprites.
