Shogun 2 uses pack files. I used 7zip to make the file size smaller. You unpack the 7z files to get a pack file.
It will be if I can upload it.
Why don't you upload the whole mod here instead of this old version ?
After all, the limitation on uploaded files over a gigabyte has long been lifted . It would be just convenient and beautiful . The new version of your mod is of marvelous quality and has long surpassed the most daring expectations.
This happens if you go too far east or west. I can't fix this.
These mods are not compatible with each other.
Only if I can upload it here.
I'll have to test this.
This is the 1.0 version, the latest version is 3.3 and includes China.
Given that it will take over a year to make a new map and no one knows how to fix this bug it's unlikely to be fixed any time soon.
Thank you so much, the mod is awesome. When can we expect a map revision and or a fix on the settlement description bug?
You will need to unzip them. I use 7zip.
Downloaded the files for the Morning sun mod. Do I need an an app like winzip to use the files?
Try downloading the latest version. I can't upload it to Steam but the link is in the discussion on the Collection page.
I can't upload 3.0 to Steam as there's a limit to how large a mod you can upload for this game. You need all 3 parts of the 3.0 version to run it.
Feel free to make one.
You need all 8 parts of the 1.0 mod. The 3.0 version is in 3 parts.
Go to the Collection for this mod and click Discussions.
Download the 3.3 version.
I made a mod like that for Medieval 2 Total War called Eras Total Conquest. I have not heard of a similar mod for Shogun 2.
It's on TWC, I just forgot to update the title.
Thanks for the fast replies :)
Otomo has special matchlock units, which weren't coded into the DB table that controls which units can be recruited from buildings. No one noticed this before since Otomo wasn't playable until recently.
Try downloading the 3.3 version. You only need to redownload the ming.pack.
tested with no other mods besides the three ming mods.
100% matchlock samurai, matchlock ashigaru, and otomo matchlocks do not appear on the tool tip over gunsmith or powdermaker and do not appear in the recruitment pool even after getting the correct techs.
the only thing that appears is the imported matchlock ashigaru the otomo can recruit from the start.
testing with other mods seems too show it is an issue specifically with the powder maker and gunsmith.
Matchlock ashigaru should be recruitable from castles if you have researched teppo mastery and matchlock samurai from the Gunsmith.
Which faction are you playing as?
