I started using the Cutscene Slugcats mod for DMS alongside this mod and now, every so often, sticking a spear into the wall freezes the game. It first happened in the tutorial tunnel on the second jump, and just now happened in Looks to the Moon in the room with many electric coils. I am using the default Spearmaster spots in DMS so rainbow still works but I'm not sure why DMS + rainbow spears, two cosmetic mods, would cause freezing when sticking spears into walls. It seems like very specific walls too, as the freezing in the spear growing tutorial only happened on the second platform you throw a spear at a wall to progress, not the first platform, and in LTTM it was a wall above the last coil in that room where you're supposed to go up to the next tunnel. Very strange.

hi there! just wanted to report a bug, i played co-op with a friend with me as artificer and them as spearmaster and when i made one of their needles explosive it froze the game... sort of. turns out we could still move and do stuff but most of the visuals like our actual scugs and some other objects froze and stuck to the screen and we only realized we could move when they made another spear by accident. was fun playing as 2 walking spears :P its definitely the explosive needle because when we went to a room without it the visuals unfroze and when i made a new one it froze again. awesome mod though! the fact that detached needles can stop changing color is a really neat detail :D

It WOULD be perfect.. Just.. PLEASE... MAKE THE EYES AND NOSE RAINBOW TOO! Having only the bottom side be rainbow is kinda.. It's kinda annoying (Like it bugs me subconsiously, the mod is amazing!)

@Lebree Zash The type of a spear is determined by the bool flags needle, electric and explosive in its AbstractSpear class

Easiest method would be to hook Player.SpitUpCraftedObject, and after orig, check if Arti just crafted a spear. If so, get a reference to it from their grasps.

Then you can mess with the newly crafted spear however you'd like
