i think its best that way and encapsulates the subtle fear of the unknown the backrooms used to have before it got infested with goofy anomalies and whatnot, the fear of the unknown gets destroyed the second whatever it might be is given a physical representation outside of scuttling away when a player looks at it, the fear of the unknown, the realization of not being alone setting in, and knowing that theres something out there watching you, with unknowable powers it may possess granted the tunnel it resided in has no secondary exit, you remain unsure whether its luring you with mal intent or for some innocent reason, only for it to never appear again

this map has a really unique aesthetic and atmosphere, seeing the red eyes in the secret tunnel shifted the feeling of calm slightly uneasy desolation, into a feeling of "you're not alone, whatever is there knows you are here" and then never seeing any physical presence of it appear out of nowhere outside of that one encounter keeps you guessing during the entirety of the simple puzzle.

Mixed and I mostly try to leave lore out of them, I think backrooms should be left mysterious and are more interesting the less it's known about them.
