@Hero Because any food item can feed a dwarf for the same amount of time; a dwarf can eat one egg and be full for a season. Eggs are just too efficient of a food source when they're laid in such huge quantities, even if that's actually how many the animal would lay.

Honestly, this is a fair nerf. I may not use the mod yet but i'll favorite it.
